I stood confused at the strange girl’s words, my eyes darting around to see if I would find someone standing behind me, someone she must have been referring to when she spoke. Because I know she didn’t just speak to me. There’s no way what she just said was directed at me. It’s not even possible.
I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen this girl before in my life. She doesn’t even look the least bit familiar. She couldn’t have been talking to me.
But the only people behind me were the warriors that accompanied us from Night Crescent. And it doesn’t look like she was referring to any of them either.
