"So, just to make sure I heard right, you received a phone call from Alpha Derek, who claimed he overheard a conversation between his father and Maryce. He, who is still Alpha Derek, by the way, called to tell you all about what he heard because he overheard things that may or may not mean that Maryce is joining hands with his father to plan something evil regarding the supernatural world."
I said, giving myself a quick recap of what Aldric just told me moments after I was done tending to his wounds. He did say he was going to talk to me about something, and I swear I was prepared. Or I thought I was. What I wasn't prepared for was a conversation between Aldric and me that could end up leading to me saying something about what I saw at the Moonlight Pack all those nights ago
