I bolted awake in bed, sweating heavily, my eyes wide open, darting around frantically as I thrashed violently in his hold, trying to get away.

"Calm down, Selene, you're going to hurt yourself! That's enough!" The voice caused me to go quiet for a moment. It sounded familiar, but I couldn’t for the life of me recognize who it belonged to.
