"Celeste?" Aldric asked, looking too lost at the mention of the name for someone who's supposedly going to tell me about the person in question.
Then again, it's probably my fault. Aldric's confusion likely has more to do with how I asked the question rather than the question itself, considering I practically attacked him with it.
I didn’t mean to, though. I just couldn’t wait any longer to get answers. After Acacia had told me Aldric had the information I sought, I couldn’t wait. It was pure torture having to wait until this morning to ask him about it, but I forced myself to, as I had no other option. Aldric was too weak and exhausted when he first regained consciousness to even comprehend what I was saying, let alone answer any questions.
