Hiding down in the concrete pit in the bowels of the Smiler ride, Will could hear them. The kids who lived in the theme park, out of their meeting now, were running around screaming and whooping. Sounded like they were glad to be out. Will couldn’t imagine that sitting in a meeting chaired by Nemesis would be much fun.
The question was, though, what had the meeting been about? Presumably they had been discussing their captives, and what to do about them. Will had the feeling that the meeting would have been less of a discussion and more of a decision taken by Nemesis, and Nemesis alone. She didn’t come across as the touchy-feely type who loved listening to others’ points of view.
