Will felt uneasy. He couldn’t pin it down, couldn’t explain it. He just had the feeling something was very wrong. Which was laughable in a way, because everything was very wrong. He had been catapulted from his own time and into a future ravaged by dinosaurs. They had been expelled from the one safe place they had found and were having to fend for themselves. They had little in the way of water, food and any real idea of where they were going or what they were going to do if they even got there.
And all the while, they lived under the constant threat of being attacked and eaten by a hungry monster from their worst nightmares.
Still, despite all that, Will had the unhappy feeling that things had just taken a turn for the worse.
He just couldn’t work out why.
