School went smoother, and I was able to pay attention in class again, yet the workplace was the same. As I entered, I could already feel the eyes on me. I couldn’t believe how fast it had happened, but it felt much akin to when I lived back in the pack and had to do everything I could to go unnoticed. I tried my hardest not to let it affect me, but everything in me screamed to run. I tried to keep myself in check, not wanting to be bullied for the rest of my life, and went back to focusing on the calls I had waiting for me. However, I hadn’t even worked an hour when someone came to fetch me, saying the boss wanted to talk to me. I couldn’t help but feel confused by the request, but I did as I was ordered.
