The Alpha kings mate

Me and my best friend Alana were getting ready to leave work when she shot up and said “we have to hurry to get ready for the ball” I didn’t really want to go to the ball but Alana loved balls so I was going for her “ok I’m ready let’s go home and get ready” me and Alana rented an apartment together because it was cheaper for both of us. We both were in college but our parents wouldn’t pay for it so we had to. We were erotic dancers we hated it but we loved dancing and it was the best laying dancing job so we took it. Once we got home we ran straight to our rooms and put on our dresses I was wearing a very dark blue dress with lace patterns scattered around it it was floor length and puffy like a princess dress and it had spaghetti straps. Since I didn’t have a mate yet I made sure my neck was bare so everyone knew I was free. My mask matched my dress perfectly it was dark blue with black designs all over it and it had a blue feather on the top. Alana walked out of her room wearing her dress it was baby pink the skirt was bare but the torso was full of pink glitter and sequence it was off the shoulder and she also didn’t find her mate yet so her neck was left bare. Me and Alana were poler opposites she liked bright colours and I liked dark colours. Her mask was baby pink with sparkles all over it and a very light pink feather on top. Alana said “oh wow Emma you look gorgeous” And I replied with “no you do that dress compliments you so well Alana” We both then put on our gloves her were plain white while mine were plain black. We then did our hair I had long dirty blonde hair that I put in curls that went down to my butt. Alana put her medium length brown hair in low bun with two front pieces of hair sticking out that were curled. We then did our makeup but just did light makeup since no one would see our faces anyway. “I can’t believe we will get to see the soon to be Alpha king tonight” Alana said I replied with “me too I’m so nervous people say he’s always angry since he hasn’t met his mate apparently he goes crazy out of no where I’m low key kinda scared” “Yea” she replied with she then said “ok let’s go now we don’t want to be late” we then left it was 9:00pm the ball started at 9:30pm but it was respectful to be early. It only took us 10 minutes to walk to the ball since we lived very close. We walked in and the ball room look amazing it was decorated with buffet tables at the side of the room there were black and white ribbons all along the walls there were balloons with masks on them everywhere. Everyone looked so amazing men wearing colourful suits and women wearing all different kinds of dresses some women were even wearing suits but the men weren’t bold enough to wear dresses. Me and Alana went straight to the dance floor since we loved to dance. While we were dancing Alana who has stronger senses then me said “ I can smell the kings aura it’s so strong it’s frightening” once the Alpha king walked into the room everyone turned and look at him. He was wearing a plain black suit with a dark blue tie his hair messy and wearing a black mask with dark blue accents. He had blonde hair and was totally my type he was older then me he was 21 and I was 19. Everyone watched him make his speech “hello everyone thank you for attending the masquerade ball I have held this ball to hopefully find my mate I hope for everyone to enjoy the ball” everyone continues to dance while me and Alana keep watching him while we dance together. He smells the air and his eyes widen making us confused he then looks around while getting off the stage he was standing on he walks towards me and Alana who are just as confused as he is. He stops walking once he gets to us we look at him in shock then get on our knees and put our hand on our heart to show respect we also submit our necks. He grabs my hand and lifts making me stand he looks at Alana and says “rise” She stands and looks at me in confusion he then smells the air again and looks me straight in the eyes and says “mine” everyone looks over at us he bends over and whispers in my ear “mate” in shock I realize the smell I had been smelling was him but there was no way I was the alpha kings mate I was a normal werewolf I was poor I was the opposite of him how could I be his mate. He looked me in the eyes and said “what is your name” I look him in the eyes and say “m-my name is E-Emma your m-majesty” He says “Emma call me Noah you are my mate after all” he then grins at me I look at Alana to see if she’s seeing this he grabs my hand and says “will you dance with me my princess” I nod not knowing what to say a slow song comes on and he slow dances with me he seems to be surprised that I know all the steps. He says “how do you know this dance?” I reply with “ school dances your m-Majesty” He says “call me Noah remember” I nod we dance for a while and I see Alana sitting alone “can I go dance with Alana for awhile she seems lonely ” I ask Noah He nods and I leave to go to Alana I grab her hand and ask her to dance with me we go to the dance floor and dance until a man with black hair with a middle part come up to us and she looks straight at him and at the same time they say “mate” I say “I’ll leave you guys to get to know each other” and I walk away I walk through the crowd and some guys that came in very late grab on to my waist and start dancing with me I try to get away but they are stronger. Noah then sees men touching me and storms over they get scared and jump back letting go of me I run to hide behind him the tallest one of the guys looks up at him and says “I’m so sorry your majesty we didn’t know she was yours since she’s in marked we will never lay a finger on her ever again” and he bows his head Noah looks at him with a angry look on his face and says “she was struggling to get away from you, you should have let her go no matter who she is if I ever see you touch another girl who doesn’t want to be touched I will kill you personally” they nod and Noah turns around and grabs my hand and we walk away I admire his height while we are walking away he’s about 6’5 which is a lot taller then me since I’m 5’3. He’s also very muscular I can tell now that I’m up close his suit hugs his muscles and it looks like he works out every day I do also but I’m not that muscular. He stops walking but since I’m distracted I run right into him “I’m sorry I was distracted” I say He reply’s with “no it’s fine are you ok did the hurt you I can deal with them if you need me to” I shake my head no. We dance for a few more hours it’s now 1:00am and I’m exhausted Noah can tell that I’m tired and says “would you like to go home now” I shake my head not wanting to leave Alana here alone with a guy she just met. Noah says “ok we’ll let’s sit for a little bit” I nod my head agreeing with him Alana texts me saying she’s going back home with her mate and wanted to know if I was ok I told her I was ok and that I would go home with Noah. I then fell asleep laying my head on his shoulder. He tried to pick me up to bring me home but it woke me up and I said “can we go dance I have my energy back” he said “of course anything for my princess” we dance for a few more hours until I start to lose my breathe Noah looks at me with worry in his eyes and says “are you alright should we sit” I shake my head and say “no I’m fine let’s keep dancing” 10 minutes later I faint. He picks me up and carries me to his room then calls in the nurse. She says that I’m just overly tired and to let me rest. The next thing I know I wake up in a room that I have never seen before I look around the bed sheets are dark blood just like mine but the material is better quality and it smells good the pillows are dark blue also but they are silk I look around the room and the walls are a dark grey the lights are dimmed and there’s two doors they must lead to a closet and bathroom. The room is huge there’s a desk with a few books and a laptop there’s also a tv in front of the king sized bed I’m sitting on. I realize I’m not in my dress anymore and I’m in a large t-shirt that’s black I smell it and it smells just like Noah which makes me feel safe I’m still wearing my b*a and underwear. My eyes widen wondering who changed me. Then I see Noah walk out the bathroom with wet hair all he has is a towel around his waist which is dangerously low I can see his six pack it’s mesmerizing his body is still somewhat wet he looks at me with a smile on his face “I’m sorry did I wake you” I shake my head no he starts slowly walking towards me and I back up until my back hits the back board. He comes and sits near me on the bed and say “how are you feeling the doctor said you were overly tired so I didn’t wake you” I reply with “I’m fine but what time is it” I frantically search for my phone he grabs my hand and says “why do you need your phone” I reply with “I need to know what time it is I need to go to school I can’t be late” He says “you aren’t going to school you need to rest” “No no I have to go I can’t miss any school I have perfect attendance I have to go” and I try to get out of the bed” “No you aren’t going you already over worked yourself you can tell your friend to bring you your homework but you aren’t going to school” I sigh and say “ but I want to go I have to graduate this is my dream please let me go and I also have to go to work” “You don’t have to work anymore princess I can buy everything you need for you” “No I don’t need you to I have a job” “What is your job” “I um dance” “So that’s why your so good at dancing” I nod “now can I go” “No you can’t you can do whatever you want but your not leaving this room” “ but please at least let me go to school” He passes me the remote and says “no don’t pester me anymore you aren’t going and that’s final” “But I’m not ti-“ He cuts me off “I said you aren’t going” I cross my arms and say “fine” I have a angry look on my face when a lady walks in with a bed table full of breakfast foods and tea. “Wow” I say as she places the bed table over me. “How did you know all of these are my favourites” “I asked your friend” “How” He shows me my phone “Can I have that” He tosses it onto the bed “I’ll be back in a little I need to go work” I say “wait” He stops walking “If I can’t go to work neither can you” “Fine” he replies he grabs the laptop from the desk and sits on the bed with me I look at him and say “who changed me?” He replies with “ the maid did I wanted to respect your privacy” “Ok thank you” I reply I turn on greys anatomy and watch it while I eat. A few hours pass and Noah hands me the laptop with a clothing store in it and says “pick out whatever you want you need some new clothes” I nod. After picking out a bunch of stuff I give him back the laptop and he buys all of it. He says “that took forever and why is it only $300” “It was $300” I blurt out He nods “Let me pay you back that’s too much” He says “no your my princess you don’t have to pay for these things anymore” “But-“ “It’s ok Emma” “Are you sure?” “Of course princess” he puts his arm around me and pulls me in making me cuddle with him. We then fall asleep while the tv is still playing greys anatomy and we are cuddling.
