A story of Revenge

Two different souls in one body. Ameilly Faye and Rianne Emilly met by an unexplainable reason in the world of Emilly after she almost died from strangulation inside her bedroom.

Ameilly Faye is a Princess and a Warrior from Moonstone Kingdom where she leads her army for wars, while Rianne Emilly is the only daughter of a multi-billionaire couple with four sons, and is married to someone she doesn’t love.

Ameilly, with the help of Emilly and her family, will do their best to finish the Biggest Revenge of all time that was already well planned for the past years against Emilly's husband and his family, while waiting to get back to their old selves, and continue their own legacy from their different worlds, along with their own true love interest.

Chapter 1: Coming Back from the War
“Princess Ameilly Faye has returned!” A very loud voice of a man echoed along the crowded corners and the silent grounds of the Palace, as a woman in her armor clothes riding a royal Horse slowly entered the Palace’s gates, along with the people behind her, walking, with their armors and swords that were all full of blood. All were looking so tired and exhausted as they dragged themselves towards the front open space of the Palace with their heavy footsteps. Even though they already wanted to rest their minds and body, they still couldn’t, as they knew that they still needed to show themselves in front of the Royalties to receive the honor for concluding the two-week battle in the borders of Moonstone Kingdom from the South with a Victory, led by the one and only Princess of the Kingdom, Princess Ameilly Faye. As soon as they entered the Palace, people were immediately and automatically bowing their heads down to greet their Princess, with smiles on their faces, gladly waiting for her and for the armies to arrive in front of the Palace. Princess Ameilly walked past them still riding her Royal Horse and stopped as soon as she arrived in front of the Palace, and jumped off from it, facing the stairs towards the main entrance of the Palace Building. The silence was too loud from where they were as soon as they all stopped from walking as they seemed to be so intimidated by their Princess’ presence in front of them, as she wasn’t even showing any emotions in her face even in her eyes, except the cold and blank stares she’s always wearing. But still, people were smiling even after they had stopped bowing for her arrival. They were just so grateful for their victory and for coming back alive. “King Samuel and Queen Laura have arrived.” The voice that announced the Princess’ arrival has echoed once again for the Royalties’ arrival just from the Palace. All people, along with the armies behind Princess Ameilly, bowed down to give full respect to the Royal Family in front, who came out from the Palace’s Main Entrance. There were three people who came out from the Palace to welcome the Princess and her army from coming back, but Princess Ameilly’s expression became even colder as soon as she realized whom her parents were with, standing next to them, in front of her. The King was wearing a Blue Royal Robe, while the Queen was wearing a White Golden Royal Dress, and both were having their proudest smile for the victory of their daughter, looking at her, but Princess Ameilly didn’t even bother to give back their smiles, as she couldn’t even get her sight out from the man whom they brought with them, who was also staring at her. She seemed to be having a hard time processing why he is with them. “We are so grateful that you came back alive, Princess Ameilly.” She slowly looked towards the King who had spoken in front of him, taking back her gaze from that man, getting back her attention for her responsibilities in their Kingdom. She suddenly stood up straight, fixed her posture and stuck the edge of her sword’s scabbard on the ground, and suddenly bowed in front of them, giving her respect to the Royalties of their Kingdom. Her hand that was holding her sword was trembling from different emotions that were triggering to get out anytime soon, but she was controlling to lose herself in front of everyone. Her weight was being supported by her sword as she’s using it as a cane to give her enough balance to remain standing while giving her respect to her parents, standing in front. She sighed and collected all the courage she needed to give her report for the concluded battle from the South Borders of the Kingdom that took them two weeks to wrap up. “I, Princess Ameilly, will be giving the final report of the concluded battle from the South Borders.” She closed her eyes so tightly and sighed before looking back at them, avoiding to look at the man who didn’t even remove his gaze from the Princess of their Kingdom. She has been feeling his stares ever since, and that made her even want to end the ceremony faster. A man suddenly walked towards her and stopped beside her, handing her a roll of parchment that she had written even before they came back to the Palace. The man bowed while giving her the parchment, and stepped back from her as soon as she got it from him and after handing him her sword. “From the two thousand army that took part in the Battle, a total of one thousand and fifty came back alive, five hundred of them were greatly injured and almost dead, and the others have deep wounds, but all fine and breathing.” She gave back the parchment to the man who delivered it for her, and looked towards the Royalties still standing in front of them. “Tell us what you want to do now, Princess Ameilly. We will grant it in exchange for coming back with victory.” The Queen said, looking at her with her wide smile. “Give these people behind me a week-long rest to recuperate from their wounds. And give the families of the armies who died in that battle some token of appreciation and a place to commemorate the deaths of their loved ones. That’s all I am asking, because they deserve it.” She said, without taking a second to think after having the opportunity to say what she wanted to happen with her people. Princess Ameilly has a very cold way of interacting with people, and rarely shows her emotion with anyone, but she’s considered as the warmest person in their Palace as she could understand what her people needs the most without asking anyone and doing anything for them, even putting her life in the line to protect everyone. She’s the most selfless person in their palace, and everyone’s celebrating her every time. “Alright. If that's what you want.” The King already knew that she was going to ask for something that will benefit everyone, so he wasn’t even surprised hearing her ask them those things for them. Right at that moment, the King and the Queen granted her wish and let them all rest for a week and the other things that the Princess asked for, and let them leave after receiving their commands. When everyone else had left, Princess Ameilly started walking up the staircase, closing the gap between her and her family. Step by step, she knew that she needed to face the man beside them, and she was always ready for that, but it’s just different this time that he was with her own family, and that made her even more nervous. “My Princess.” As soon as she landed on the last step of the stairs, her Mother, the Queen, grabbed and hugged her really tight. “I missed you so much. How are you? Are you hurt somewhere? Tell me, I will call a Doctor fast.” She said, while checking the Princess in every part of her body with her eyes, holding her in her shoulders. She was against the Princess’ decision of going to the battle herself at first, but the Princess was really so determined to lead the troop, and knowing her daughter more than anyone else, she had just accepted it with a very heavy heart. And seeing her now, in front of her, makes her the happiest. “I’m fine.” The Princess answered with her ever so cold emotions. The King was just looking at the Princess with his proudest smile. “What is he doing here?” She was already looking at him on her right side, who was not even saying a word, and doing anything. He was looking down, as if giving the Royal Family their privacy, and respect. “Ah. Victor.” The Queen said while glancing at him in a second, and looked back to her with a very awkward smile. “We will explain later. For now, you should rest, Princess. I know you’re tired.” Princess Ameilly’s eyes didn’t leave his, as if asking him why he’s there, standing in front of her, like it was just a natural thing to be in the Palace with her parents, but it isn't. “Let’s have our meal together, later. We need to go now, Princess. Rest well.” Her Mother kissed her on her cheeks, and The King just nodded in front of her, and they left her there, standing in front of the Palace’s main door, while watching them both leave. As soon as they were inside the Palace, Princess Ameilly directed her gaze towards the man in front of her who didn’t follow the two, and chose to stay there with her, because he already felt that she wanted to have a word with him alone. “Follow me.” She said and walked past him, towards the side of the Palace, where the man went after her, following her from behind. He did not know where she was going, but he didn’t speak a word while following her, knowing that the Princess doesn’t want to hear anything if he was not being asked. Princess Ameilly stopped on the bridge over a lake inside the Palace premises. It was quiet and peaceful there, and no servant had followed her to the bridge except the man who had stopped beside her. Her servants had stopped following her as soon as she climbed the stairs towards the bridge. Now, they were alone together. “I told you not to show yourself inside the Palace. What are you doing here?” She was looking down at the water below the bridge, and appreciating the clear water of the lake that she had never seen for a while. This is her favorite spot in the Palace where she could have a clear and wide view of the Palace grounds and the garden just across the lake. It is where she could get fresh air, and it is also where she’s getting peace of mind as no servant is allowed to even get on top of the bridge at the same time because it might get too heavy to carry them at the same time. “I just can’t disobey the King, Princess. He called me, and I needed to show up.” It was the first time she heard his voice again after their last conversation, before she came for the battle in the South Borders. “Why did he want to see you?” “I’m afraid I can’t tell you the reason.” Her expression remained blank even after hearing it from him, she’s already expecting to hear that anyways, but just still wanted to hear it directly coming from him. She doesn’t want to show it, but she’s so grateful to hear his voice again after so long. It gives her comfort and peace everytime, but there’s just no way for her to show and tell it to anyone, except herself. And she thinks that it’s better that way. “Did he ask you to stay inside the Palace?” The man was so taken aback and got speechless for a while after hearing it from her. He was just looking at her, mesmerized by her beauty and brains that always amazed him. “From how you reacted, it must be true.” She added. “Then what did you say? Did you accept it or not?” “There’s no way I will accept his offer. But he still insisted, so I told him I will transfer to the city so I could visit any time he needed me.” Princess Ameilly heaved a sigh. “I told you to leave, but you chose to move even closer to the Palace.” She turned her gaze and her attention to him, “Are you mocking me?” “There’s no way I will do th-” “But you’re doing it already.” She said, looking back to the garden that she could see from the bridge. “You must know now that he’s just using you for his own good. There’s no way that a highly respected King wanted to keep a man beside him for no particular reason.” “Please don’t doubt your Father, Princess. He’s not someone who will do a reckless decision for nothing.” “You still have a lot to learn, Victor.” She smiled, as if she had remembered something from the past which concerns her Father. “But if you’re already decided to do so, then be it. It’s not my problem anymore. You have already chosen your path, and I don’t want to say anything about it anymore. I will take a rest now. I hope you find peace inside the Palace.” She said, and took a step forward to get down from the stairs they have used to get on the bridge. But a sudden headache stopped her from walking, and had nearly lost her balance, but Victor got beside her fast, and helped her to stand straight, and gain her balance. “Are you alright?” He was holding her on her shoulders from the back to support her and to keep her from falling. “Yes. Don’t worry too much.” Her eyes were closed because of the pain she was feeling in her head. “Can you walk?” He was so concerned for her that he didn't even care if he was disobeying her already for touching her. Because he knows that it is not the time for that and she needs him now. Princess Ameilly is now feeling so dizzy and couldn’t even stand straight and answer him. She couldn’t even open her eyes as her head was spinning so fast, and her feet were already betraying her. It was the very first time it happened to her, and thankfully it happened inside the Palace and not when she was on the battlefield. “Princess Ameilly!” Victor couldn't help not to shout to his surprise, as the Princess suddenly fell on his arms, unconscious. She wasn’t responding anymore when he was calling her. He didn’t expect that to happen, but he was so alert at that moment, even though he was nervous about what was happening to the Princess. He carried her in his arms, not minding the weight of the armor she was still wearing. He was almost running down off the bridge just to get her to see her Doctor, to check her condition. He was nervous, and he could only hope that she would be alright, and get her consciousness fast. That’s the only thing that could make him feel at ease.
