THE SUPERMARKET Chapter 1 Mirabel Goes To The Supermarket. There was a beautiful girl who lived in Chicago her and name was Mirabel Oliver. Mirabel was 17 years old and was a cleaner at a supermarket. She worked with them three years when she got her first job promotion to be a sales manager. She was from a family of two siblings and herself her Dad and her mum, altogether it was a family of five. Her dads name was Peter Oliver and her mum’s name was Elisabeth Oliver. The story of her breakthrough began one morning. Mirabel got up on monday prepared and got to the supermarket she saw there were more people than were usually gotten at the supermarket. In the evening it was the owner who actually came up to see how the business going. He invited everyone to dinner the next day including Mirabel. Jack was the father of two children Amanda and Liam. Amanda is Mirabels age mate and Liam was 21 years old. Liam was at a university and he was very handsome. He worked very hard to make sure the business of his father was succeeces. Jack was ill and he needed to go to the hospital but he hasn’t been able because he raised an average family. He raised his children with good morals. One day the supermarket got fire and thieves made away with items from the shop. They lost customers gradually, he paid debts to avoid being dragged by impatient people. Liam’s old friends left him and his family became broke. Items in the shop were few, they ate some, used up some and sold the rest. Mirabel had to stop working for them because she needed more money to take of her family. Liam’s mother was impatient her name was Catherine most of the reasons why they lost lots of customers was because of her. She had very mean friends who talked down about the supermarket, she was never impressed about anything they had and most times made she made her family very uncomfortable. A home nurse came to take care of Peter while Mirabel started hunting for jobs in other places. Mirabel’s mum and the nurse took care of the home and on the other hand jacks wife sold more of the house properties including some of their cars. She never wanted her friends to see her in a poor condition, Catherine wanted to keep appearing okay. She sold more of the jewelries her husband bought for her, and left only her wedding ring. The more she tried the more her mean friends left her. Jacks friends came to help him raise back his shop but Catherine asked them to leave she didn’t want to look low. Jacks friends promised they would keep an eye on him to make sure he is doing fine. Mirabel brought him a gift for his birthday in his shop and met Liam as well and it was love at first sight. They shared the same personality as they talked. Jack was surprised to see his son talk to girl at the supermarket for long, ‘and he asked Liam do you like her’ and he said yes Dad. They went home that night and Mirabel escorted Mirabel to her house, they lived in the same neighborhood. He bought he some flowers for her and he kissed her warmly and dearly. He promised to visit her again because he loved her company. Chapter 2 Liam and Mirabel Get Married Catherine was happy to see both of them because she liked good things, she bought cakes and made dinner for everyone, she was very happy. One day, Peter had a broken bone on his leg, he visited a bone surgeon, his bone shifted from a joint in his leg and he was given crouches to walk in the hospital because of the accident he had in his former work place. Jacks friends came back to help him and his supermarket was built back and opened many other more branches across the city and they were well known and his family became wealthy again and brought more properties including cars and all the things they lost they bought them back. Liam graduated from university and he married Mirabel joy filled the family after two years of taking care of her fathers leg began to heal. Mirabel got admission and after four years she graduated too, she studied business. Liam’s and Mirabel’s family grew, they had two daughters and their names were Bella and Stephanie, Jack and Catherine became grand parents. Catherine’s mean friends didn’t came back again, Liam and Mirabel traveled to see the world with their daughters. Catherine apologized to Jack and her children for dragging her family through their harsh times and thanked Mirabel for bringing joy to their family. Jack took his parcel and bought back jewelries for his wife. News broke one day that one of Catherine’s old friend died one of the bad ones who made bad claims on Catherine’s family and made thieves to come to their shop, the rest came back to apologize to Catherine for coming together to bring a bad time in her life in the past. Catherine forgave them and peace with them and became friends again. Mirabel bought a house and cars for her parents to live in and she taught her children to do well in whatever they choose and be kind to many people, that kindness can come back to people in different ways. Christmas came that year and they celebrated, their malls where decorated across the city in red Christmas hats, they celebrated Christmas season and lots of gifts where brought for their family. Chapter 3 Liam and Mirabel Open Joy’s Orphanage The family had brought a good charity to their area, they opened an orphanage at Saint Joys Garden Station. The name of the orphanage was Joy orphanage. They built a school with swings in it for the children to learn and they were brought cleaners and matron who made the kids bed and cleaned the building, and gardners to cut and shape the trees in the gardens and trim the lawns. Pastries where brought for the children from the supermarket to Joys Orphanage. Children who lost their parents where taken out of the street into the orphanage, fed, clothed and gave the children food. They were made to feel happy again. Other people brought gifts for them and donated as much as they could. A set of twins who were misplaced by their parents were brought at the orphanage it was a boy and a girl. Liam and Mirable wondered why they were at the orphanage but they were very intelligent. Sam and Esther were seven years old when they where adopted by the orphanage. Mirabel checked to see the back ground of the twins family from her community in Chicago. Liam returned to see if there was anyone at the children’s home but he didn’t find anybody. Johnson their father was poor when he left their home. The mother of the twins name was Caren she took care of them alone for seven years before she set them up for adoption and then she relocated. One day Johnson returned to his house, everywhere looked abandoned and didn’t find anyone there and he started looking for Caren. Chapter 4 Sam and Esther Found Their Parents Caren raised Sam and Esther alone for seven years and couldn’t cope with feeding and other things, Sam and Esther school fees rose and she couldn’t pay them because she was a single mom. Liam loved the twins very much and because of that he took them to his house. Sam and Esther stayed with Liams children Bella and Stephanie. The twins could sing they sang beautiful songs very often liam used them for his supermarket entrance songs. But they wanted to see their parents. Liam went to the hospital to check for the files of the children to see who brought the twins and the nurse too. Amanda, Liams younger sister also joined the search for the twins parents. Mirabel and Amanda took the twins to the hospital and they received medications. Caren was at the hospital on that day and she saw her children she called her sons name Sam! they screamed Carens name by surprise on the hall way and hugged them she apologized to her children for leaving them. Amanda and Mirabel ran together with the kids to know if she was their real parent and her children recognized her and she recognized them too. They all left the hospital together to their home. She saw them and her eyes was filled with tears. She bought them a lot of things at the hospital and they left together to Liams home. Caren saw other children at the orphanage and started working there and took care of the children. Sam and Esther showed their mum all they’ve been doing and she was happy to see all they have been doing since they came to the orphanage and she was happy. Caren thanked Mirabels family and she knelt down and thanked them for taking care of their children. Chapter 5 The Golden Buzzer Show Liam was hosting a big show for children who could sing from different places and children from Joy orphanage where practicing their exhibition show. Some big students were sharing fliers about the upcoming kids show, Johnson was on his way home and luckily enough he collected one from them at the train station. On that day he came to the venue at garden street and took a sit in the hall. The hall was dark with little blinks of blue lighted bulbs and a stage full of light, the hall had Saint Joy Orphanage Children written in the lights, Many children performed and won prizes. Joy orphanage performed on the stage Sam and Esther where put at the front and they sang beautiful songs and they got golden buzzer got bigger prices because they were children from an orphanage. Many families were clapping for them after the show. They wished them well and the show came to an end. When people started going home, Johnson came outside of the venue where people greeted attendants of the show and Caren sighted him in the crowd. Caren reached to where he was and called him, and he was on his way home and very closed to the train station. Johnson heard his name and came back to the spot where he heard his name and met Caren, they hugged as they greeted each other. He asked her about the children if she knew where they where and Caren said she came with them to the show. They immediately ran back to where the kids where at the stage and he saw them and carried them up, Sam and Esther taught he was a stranger happy at the show, Caren told them that he was their father. They were outside the park and followed them to see the orphanage. The next day She took him everywhere his children followed him. Johnson and Caren got a home and moved in the same neighborhood with their children. Jack and Mirabels parents came to see who Johnson was he concluded that he was Caren’s husband the father of the children, Liam was surprised, Sam resembled Johnson and Esther resembled Caren they worked at there. Liam cried that day because he felt the children were lucky to find their parents among other children. Chapter 6 Graduation of the Students Some children were adopted after some time by various people who had home pets and wanted more children and some who lost their children and couldn’t bear any children. Those who were average learners were taken to school of skills, while the remaining continued their studies. Weekend came they started replanting cutting and reshaping dead trees Jack cleaned and dusted their whole house. Some children who were in crouches were taken to the field for sports race they cycled on the track with their wheel chairs to the finish line. They were given flowers, gifts and medals because they can’t walk, new sets of walking sticks, wheel chairs, healthcare food and provisions were given to them to use. After sometime some of them were taken to the hospital for redress their legs and were given medicine. They were going to school with other children, but with fewer assignments. They all rested when vacation came. After three years, there was no school some students at the orphanage the older ones already grew up some of them became professors after their university. They had parties and Mirabel and Liam awarded all of them different from their graduation because she trained them they read congratulatory messages to them. They unwrapped their gifts and some were given cool jobs and some receive other kind of awards. The old security they had also got awarded for being the best security they had in their area. Jacks supermarket started off again and their sales moved on gradually after the break. The staffs came back they started working again. Chapter 7 Amandas and Davids Wedding Amanda Liam’s sister is planning was getting married her mum Catherine organized a beautiful hall with beautiful ribbons Amanda loved cakes and music and flowers, a lot of bouquet were set at the event hibiscus, roses, with beautiful petals pianists were invited to her wedding they played very beautiful songs for her and a factory made a big cake for her wedding, she had little children do the little brides and groom for her, her brother Liam was her best man. All liams friends came she had a bright church wedding her husbands name was David and his surname was Joseph. David was a very good man and he loves music too. He has a building were he worked with computers. On their wedding day they cooked rice, lettuce, turkey, grapes, curry, chicken, fishes, cheese, bread, biscuits, wines ice creams and a wonderful pool, everywhere was tiled with a beautiful sparkling stage. They all ate and were filled with so much excitement Jack and Catherine prayed for them. The Bishop read the marriage vows and David and Amanda were joined together in holy matrimony, her parents and maid of honor prayed for her, the party started and they were all filled with so much excitement. Jack bought his daughter a car on behalf of her wedding and everybody clapped for them in the end everybody went home with them. David and Amanda thanked all their friends for coming. Chapter 9 The early bird catches the early worm There was a company organizing list of shops retail shops malls supermarkets industries and awarding them based on being clean, paying their tax, and customers choice and friendliness. A man hid in the fish van going to the market his name was Dan he was freezing he always to hide from the policemen at the traffic who had been searching vans delivering goods the fish van crossed to he shop side, he came down and was smelling of fishes it was Jacks friend fishing company, he always hid in the van every weekend and took fishes wanted to he roasted the fishes anytime he went home the children in the streets always saw him and laughed, when the van gets to the fish depot he will come down with his coat while at a freezing point. His best friend was a beggar sometimes he shared his fish with his friend the birds in the street keeps them company they throw some piece of the fish to the birds tot hank them keeps them company with some grains of corns. When jack orders for fishes through his friends fish company the old man waits for the remaining fishes to arrive back with the bus. Jacks friend fishing company has the biggest fishing boat and fish preservation rooms with ice in Chicago, the influence of his friend shop almost affected him because of the smell of the fish and water drops whenever they deliver. Inspectors came to check the open markets and supermarkets around the city some shops were not tidy some had old products and some were even empty left vacant, some of the shop owners didn’t have money to re-buy their goods and had scanty shops, those who had bad products quickly closed out on seeing the inspectors. While they were checking some shops were locked up immediately and sealed, until the owners paid their taxes and until some of them stopped buying products from pirates, non registered companies, bad fruits, unclean water, expired snacks and drinks. Some of them sold bad clothes that were beginning to cut, government came and took some of those clothes out of the shops and people started picking them for free. It was summer and people didn’t like working too much because of the hot weather. The supermarket was well stocked because they had lots of customers. Jacks supermarket has the highest amount of customers in Chicago. When the inspectors came to Jack they gave him some document to sign and in it his tax was waved he wasn’t going to pay tax anymore to the government, his supermarket was monitored for five years and for one day he never lacked what his customers needed, he even gave his customers a special number to dial and give feedback on their products and offered them home delivery services too by bus and motorcycles. He gave some of them gifts too. The inspectors checked and other branches and Jack maintained the same standard for being clean and tidy and not having bad products. Jack was called by the inspectors and they awarded his work the supermarket, Catherine, Liam, Mirabel, Peter, Elisabeth, Bella and Stephanie his whole family came with him to collect his award.
