Chapter 10 ~ Memories

"Taylor?" I look up to see Tristan standing there his arm crossed over his chest. "Tristan?" He gives me a light smile. He looks down at my hand. "Where did your ring go?" He asks. "I don't know when i woke up it was already gone." He signs. "Tristan is there other things out there besides vampires?"

"You already know there is. So why are you asking?" He sounded colder. "My friend has powers."

"Jenny?"

"Yeah." He runs a hand through his hair. He turns so his back was facing me. "When you last saw her was she awake?" I try to think back. "Yeah she made whoever took us upset."

"Upset? How?" I turn to see Kai standing there a frown on his lips. "She lifted one of them by her ability."

"Was her eyes purple?" Kai asks. "Yeah, is that bad?" Kai sighs. "We need to hurry then."

"why what's going on?" I ask worried. "They plan on using you and Jenny to get to us. They sent two superhumans to our mansion." Kai starts to explain. "Do they have any werewolves with you?" Tristan asks. "I don't know any names i should keep an eye out for them."

"There's a few and i really don't know them." Tristan says. "Have you heard of Jackson or Cole?" Kai says as he steps forward. "Yeah they were the ones who took me to the vampire." Kai and Tristan share a look. The dream starts to fade. "Wait where are you!" Kai says quickly. Before i could say anything i wake up.

I look around i was back in my cell only Jenny wasn't here and there was only one bed meaning they moved her to a different cell. I sigh as i sit up. my lower back hurt and my mouth tasted like i ate dirt. I stand up and walk to the little window. I hear my cell door open and someone steps through grabbing me by my arm. I try to tug my arm away from them but they grip my arm harder. They drag me out of the room and place me in a different room. Once they shove me in i try to run out but they close the door before i could. I look around the room. it was a bright white almost enough to make my eyes hurt. in the middle sat a chair with ropes tossed on the floor. I turn around hoping to find a window but sadly there were none. Besides the chair and rope there was nothing else in the room. the lights felt too bright but that could've been because of the white walls. The door begins to open as i rush forward in hopes of escaping. As i reach the door i get shoved back. Jackson and cole walk with someone who i never met. A boy stood beside her they looked like they could've been twins. They both had black hair and brown eyes though their eyes looked old somehow. The girl turns toward Jackson and Cole. "He called for this?" Both boys nod. "Yes ma'am." Cole says bowing his head slightly. "Didn't i tell you to call me Skylar?" Cole nods. Skylar turns toward me. "Sit." Her voice felt compelling to listen to. It was almost as if her words had layers of magic. I start to move forward when i stop myself. "Didn't you hear me? I said sit." I glare at her. "She'll be a good one won't she?" She says as she turns towards her brother. The boy smiles. "She'll be the best ever made." Skylar snaps her fingers as she does the rope wraps itself around me. Once it's fully wrapped around me i fall to my knees. Skylar and her brother walks over. They take each other hands as they do their eyes turn into a dark purple though it looked more like black. The boy held his hand out to air as he does that four figures appear. One was fully red, blue, green, white and black. each of their eyes were the dark purple. I feel power rush over me as i start to float. After a few seconds i fall to the ground. Thankfully i wasn't high up. Once i hit the ground i look up confused. Where was i? who am i? A girl bends down with a soft smile. "Hello Taylor do you remember me?" So my name was Taylor? "No? Who are you?"

"I'm Skylar, this is my brother Colby. we're here to help you with your abilities." She says softly. "I have abilities?"

"Yes but your very powerful so you'll need to be careful with them okay?" I nod. something didn't real right but pushed that feeling down because she seemed nice plus i had no other memory beside her. She helps me stand as two men come into the room. "Taylor, this is Jackson and Cole, they'll be your bodyguards until you fully understand your ability." They bow their heads. "Why do i need bodyguards?" I ask as i look up at her. "Because a clan of vampires want you. They'll do anything to get to you."

"Are they bad?" She nods. "Very bad."

"Oh."

"But you'll help us right? We are family after all." She says sweetly. "yeah i'll help you they're bad after all right?" She nods as he leads me out of the room. She leads me to a big room. On the one side had a big bed with night stand beside and a lamp. The room also had a bookshelf, a desk, a bathroom and a big closet with a bunch of different dresses and shoes. On the walls were a few big windows and a bay window. "And remember if you ever need any of your bodyguards just call for them trust me they'll know."

"okay."

"Now come on we need to meet the few other people who live here."

"Who owns it?"

"I do." Skylar says with a sly smile.
