"Do you know what your even signing up for?" My mom asks. I nod. "Of course i do." I mumble as i finish packing my suitcase. "Look being one myself it's not a life style i want for you." She continues. "Mom, i'll be fine. They told me there's two other people i'll be training with." My mom frowns. "Jennifer she'll be okay." My dad says as walks in. "Didn't you barely pass?" Jenifer asks. "No. i was at the bottom of my class." She rolls her eyes. "Still barely passing." I close my suitcase. "Mom, Dad i will be fine." "who's your teacher?" Jennifer asks. "Justin why?" "Isn't he a rank six?" Mom asks turning to face Dad. He nods. "Yeah why?" "I'd prefer a rank ten to teach her." I roll my eyes as i move my dark hair away from my face. "Mom a rank six will be fine" I say as i move my suitcase from my room to the front door. "Your diver will be here soon." Dad says walking past Jennifer. "Okay." "Remember what to do when you first meet other hunters?" "Yes dad." He nods waiting for me to continue. "You ask Rank, name and to see any hunter ID they might have." He nods. "Good what else?" "Ask to see the tattoo." He nods. "Good. I'll be out there with you. Ben's a good friend of mine." "Do you and mom still get missions?" "Of course that doesn't stop just because you have a kid." He says smiling down at me. "Ah your driver is pulling up." "Just give me a minute." I say as i walk into the kitchen where my mom was standing. I walk up to her and give her a quick hug. "Be safe okay?" I nod. "Bye mom." I walk outside where my dad and someone with brown hair with sunglasses and a dark suit was standing talking lowly. He turns to me. "Hello Tayler. Are you ready?" From the corner of my eye i see my dad glace down at me. "Can i see your hunter tattoo?" He gives a little nod before rolling his sleeve up. On his wrist sat the hunters sign. which was a sword going though a shield. After a second he pushes his sleeve back down. "Are you ready to go?" The driver asks. I turn around to grab my suitcase. "Your suitcase is already in the car." I walk up to my dad and wrap my arms around him. "Bye dad i'll miss you." "Make sure you call okay?" I nod. I walk back to the car. The driver opens my car door. I slide inside and give my dad a goodbye wave. "You can call me Ben if you wish." "Alright Ben." I say with a slight smile.
