Chapter 8 ~ The first three

I step forward. "What does it look like?" Grace shoots me a warning look. "Did Justin say what it looks like?" Grace asks. Tristan nods. "He showed me." Grace stands up. "Show me." Tristan frowns. "That's the issue, it wouldn't matter because he saw it in it's full form. So it'd give us no hints as to who or what it could be."

"Can you say what you saw?" I ask. Ashlyn glances up at me. "Yeah, it was a wolf with bright purple eyes." Noah gives him a confused look. Grace stands. "It must be found right away." Noah steps forward. "I may not know what it is but if it's a werewolf you'll have to get past me." He says stepping up to her. "Do you even understand what that means?" Grace asks narrowing her eyes. "Purple eyes... So part superhuman and part werewolf right?" Grace nods. "Then you should know why we must find it."

"I can't let you." Noah says crossing his arms. "You know what superhuman's are willing to do if you mess with them."

"Yes, but it would still be part werewolf meaning it'd be under my command." I step forward. "What happened with Noah?" I ask Grace. She shakes her head. "It's not my story to tell." Noah runs a hand through his hair. "It was when i had the first three werewolves in my pack.. I was a new leader." Noah sighs shaking his head lightly.

"Noah there's something we've never seen." Jake says running from the woods. Jake had slightly long light brown hair with the darkest eyes i have ever seen. "Like what? A vampire?" Jake shakes his head. "No it looks human but it's different."

"Different how?"

"It has purple eyes." I frown slightly. "Purple eyes?" I ask confused. Jake nods. "I'll take you to them. Jessica and Zoe are with them."

"You left the girls by themselves?"

"You can be upset later but can we just go? I don't trust them." As he starts running he shifts into his wolf and takes off running. I follow after him. Once we got there i saw two humans both had black hair with brown eyes they looked like they could've twins. I shift back to my human form. "Hello, What are you doing?" The girl smiles at me. "Hello, we ask you keep your dogs on your side."

"Side? Dogs? What are you talking about?" The male that stood beside her turns around and points to the end of the woods. "You see that little cabin? That's ours and we don't want you four near it got it?" He says. "Oh i didn't know." Jake stands beside me still in his wolf form Jessica stands on my right and Zoe takes up Jake's left side. They both glare at Zoe. "It won't happen again." I state. The girl gives me a fake smile. "Good, i won't ask again." She says as they turn around as they do so a thick white fog rolls in making them disappear in front of our eyes. After a short run we went back to our house. We all lived in one house. I got the biggest room, Jake being second in command got second biggest then Zoe's and Jessica's were the same. Once we got back to the house i went to my room we always ate together and went to bed around the same time. That night i went to bed a little later then i normally would. I was thinking over who the two humans were when i heard a loud scream. I jump up from my desk. As i do Jake runs into the room. He grabs my wrist and pulls me outside from the secret door we had just in case anyone would try to attack us. "Noah you need to go." Jake says lightly pushing me toward the woods. "What happened? Who screamed? Are they okay?" Jake looks down shaking his head lightly. "They killed them." I glance up at the house as a thick white fog slowly wraps around the house. From the window i could see a faint purple glow. Jake shoves me backwards again. "Go before it's too late. I'll give you cover okay?" I shake my head. "I can't leave you behind." I say. He growls as i step forward. "It'll be fine i can handle them. I'm second in command for a reason right?" His words simply went in one ear and out the other. I knew him long enough to know why he wanted to do this he wanted to make up for the girls dying. "Meet me on the other side okay?" I say. Jake gives a smile as he runs into the house. I turn around and take off running into the woods i shift into my wolf halfway through the woods. After a few hours i ran into an open area. I shift back into my human form and look up at the sky. The sun had already set making the sky look dark some clouds started to come in making it look even more dark. In my heart i knew none of the three lived since we were a pack you know when one of your members leaves or dies. I sit down on a rock it felt off not having the three of them beside me. "I gave you the warning and you didn't listen." A sharp voice said. I look up standing across from me stood the girl and her twin beside her. Both of their eyes were glowing purple. "What are you guys?"

"Superhumans if you will, we are given powers based off the elements." I let my head drop as if bowing to them. The girl laughs. Something dropped in front of me a girl with black hair had landed in front of me. "Finally i found you two. Stop running and pay for your crimes."

"Crimes? We simply killed a few humans. Don't you do the same?"

"The killings were not needed." She says taking a step forward. A thick fog wrap around her. As it touched me i felt a slight burning sensation. I quickly got away from the fog. After a minute the fog is slowly wisped away. The girl turns so she is facing me. "Are you okay?" She asks her bright red eyes giving away the fact she was vampire. She tilts her head slightly as she waits for my answer. "My pack was just killed. So how do you think i am?" She blinks. "Oh i didn't realize. My apologies i have a manson you can stay at if you wish."

" That's how you two met?" Kai asks stepping forward. Grace nods. "Yeah it wasn't the best way but it built trust." The door bursts open as one of the guards walks in. "Grace, there's been activity of the rouge vampires near by."

"Where at?" Grace asks standing up. "Outside of our land."

"Are they waiting for us?" Noah asks stepping forward. "We aren't sure but two superhumans have been spotted with them."
