Chapter 9 ~ Abilities?

I rise my aching head. Where was i? I try to think back to the last thing i remember. But everything seemed fuzzy. "Taylor?" My head snaps to Jenny's voice. "Jenny?" I ask as i stand up from the bed i was sitting on. She runs over to me and pulls me into a hug. "Are you okay?" I whisper. "Yeah, how do you feel?" She asks softly. "My head hurts but otherwise i'm fine." She sighs softly. "Good since Tristan found out he's been going into my dreams. "How long have i been out for?"

"Just one day." She says pulling away from me. "Where are we?" She looks around. "That's what I've been trying to figure out." I glance around our little cell. I couldn't see much due to the fact that it was almost completely dark. There were two beds each pushed against a wall. There was a little window that was too small to jump out of. There was also an unlit candle on the wall. "Who took us?" She shrugs. "A vampire." She says distastefully. Both of our heads snaps at the little door as it opens. A tall boy walks through he had black hair and bright green eyes. Someone else followed behind him. The other guy stepped in behind him. The other guy had dark brown hair and blue eyes that reminded me of a river. "Good your up. I'm Jackson and this is Cole." Jenny walks in front of me. "What the hell do you want?" She says her eyes narrowing on the two of them. "Just do what you're told and you won't get hurt understand?" Jackson says stepping forward. Cole grabs his wrist and pulls him back. "Careful, If you hurt Taylor the leader will have you killed."

"He won't be the only one to kill him." Jenny says while glaring at them. "You'd kill us? Ha don't make me laugh." Jackson says. "I won't but Tristan will." She says pushing me behind her further. Jackson rips his wrist from Cole he walks forward and grabs Jenny by the collar of her shirt he lifts her up and slams her into the wall beside me. "I can't hurt her but no one ever said anything about you." Jackson growls. I stumble back i somehow manage to trip over my feet and land on my butt. "You were meant to get them not hurt them." a new voice says from the door. Jackson looks over at her then drops Jenny. "Whatever she was asking for it." He says as he walks out of the room. The girl had short black hair and her eyes were a dark shade of red. Cole bows his head slightly. "Cole, You grab them and bring them to the throne room." Cole nods and steps forward to grab us. He grabs me first since i was closer to him. He grabs my upper arm and pulls me to my feet he does the same with Jenny. Before we would leave the room the girl puts blindfolds on us. Cole dragged us for what felt like forever. It was probably longer since i couldn't see. I hear a door open and slam close he pulls us a few more feet forward and shoves us down to our knees. "So this is Taylor? I don't know what he sees in her." A deep voice said. I hear someone walk beside me then someone else walking in front of me. Suddenly my blindfold was pulled off letting the bright sun hit my eyes. I rise my hand to shield my eyes from the sun. The person walks away from me and over to Jenny. "Not her. Leave it on." The same deep voice says. I watch as Cole nods and walks away from her. I realize it was the same guy who had called me and kidn*pped me. I glare up at him. He smiles down at me as he stands. "Ah, you remembered me have you?"

"What the hell do you want?" I ask glaring at him. "Tell me everything you know about Tristan."

"Not happening." I say as i stand up as i do two people appear slightly behind me and grab my arms. The guy waves his hand dismissively however the hands didn't move. As he steps closer the hands force me to kneel. "Let me go!" I yell at trying to turn around so i could face the people behind me. "Taylor? What's going on?" Jenny asks nervously. "No need to worry about her she'll live." The leader says moving closer to me. My head jerks up. He tilts his head slightly to the side. "What you didn't think she'd live did you?" He asks as he kneels in front of me. "Don't worry you'll live though, you'll even get to meet your mate again if you listen." I glare at him. "If you touch her i'll kill you!" I yell in his face. He grabs my chin making me look up him. "Great example of what not to do." He says calmly. As he pulls his hand away i jump forward slightly and bite his hand. He jerks back and pulls rips his hand away from me. I glance over at Jenny. Since she still had her blindfold on she didn't have any guards near her. As i start to look back at the vampire in front of me i feel my head snap to the side a second later i felt the stinging pain enough to know that he had slapped me. "Taylor? What happened?" Jenny asks as she tries to get to her feet. As she does a person appears behind her and grabs her arm forcing her back to her knees. The vampire grabs my face again and makes me look at him. "You do that again and you'll die understand?" His head jerks up as something slams against the wall. I look up to see the guard that Jenny had was now slumped on the ground. Jenny rips her blindfold off and glares at the vampire in front of me. She lifts her hand up as she does the room seems to get darker as if the sun had already set. Her eyes turn purple as the space around the vampire becomes darker. As she slowly moves her hand up the vampire starts to float in the air. I feel a sharp pain in my back i feel myself hit the ground the darkness seemed so inviting i could hear a distance shout as i sink into the darkness.
