Chapter 6 ~ Found

I place my hand on Tristan holding him in place. I knew he didn't want Taylor going after Jenny due to the group that took her and now Taylor was at risk as well. Seemed like to me they were going after human mates.

"If you know what's good you'll listen to me." Tristan says anger in his voice though he was trying to hide it. The dream starts to fade slowly until we we're standing in Tristan's room again.

Since he was a lord now he got a bigger room. in the middle of the room was a large bed. Vampire didn't need sleep but it was still nice to get comfortable in a bed especially for Tristan since one of his abilities was being able to go into anyone's dreams. He had a bookshelf pushed against one of his walls there were a few books all of them were fiction. He stood up from his bed and started pacing his eyes were filled with anger. I stood up. "Tristan why don't you sit down." He turned around to glare at me. "What do you mean sit down? My possible mate might get herself kidn*pped by a group of rouge vampires!" He growled stepping closer. "Don't forget about Jenny." I say crossing my arms. "What is she your mate?" I shrug. "I don't know maybe?" Tristan runs his hand through his hair. "Kai, we need to find them. If Jenny is your mate you'll understand." I sit down in one of his chairs that sat by the bookshelf. "Look i understand. I want to find her too."

"Then how are you so calm?!" He asks. "Because i can't let myself get worked up." I say calmly. "But trust me i want nothing more then to make sure myself that Jenny is okay." Tristan sighs and sits down in the other chair. "We should head to the base just to make sure she's safe." Tristan says. "Didn't Justin say he'll watch over them? If she's missing I'm sure he's already looking for her." I say standing. "Where are you going?"

"To talk to grace. I wanna see if she's knows anything about the group." Tristan nods and stands up as well. "Where are you going?" I ask. "To talk to Justin."

"Don't bother him he's probably in contact with people trying to find her." He rolls his eyes. "Then they won't mind a vampire." He says as he pushes past me. I walk out of his room and down to the throne room. "What's wrong?" Lynn asks as i walk in. "Tristan is loosing his mind." I say as i stop by her throne. She frowns. "What happened now?"

"They took Taylor." Lynn stands up. "This is getting out of control. We need to make a move on them before they take more people." I nod. "We need to talk to grace first, though i doubt she'll stop us from going after them." Ashlyn nods as she stands. "Then we should call a meeting."

"Tristan won't show." I say. "Then make him." Ashlyn says walking out of the room. I follow her out of the room. "You know i don't like doing that." I say as the door shuts behind me. Grace stands from her spot on the sofa as the door slams shut. "What's going on?" She asks looking between the two of us. "Grace we need to have a meeting." Ashlyn says crossing her arms. "About what?" She asks as she moves closer to us. "The rouge vampires took another human." I state as i move closer to her. She holds her hand out waiting for me to take it. I grasp her hand as i do her eyes move back and forth as if watching a movie. After a minute she steps back from me. "Kai, go get Tristan. He should know better then to mess with them to begin with." The door opens as Lynn and Sebastian walks out. "Lynn, you go contact them." Her eyes widen. "What why them? they're even worse then─"

"Just go." Grace says sending her a small glare. Lynn bows her head slightly then she leaves. "Kai you should head out." I bow my head slightly then i leave. The run there didn't take long but figuring how to get in might be a bit more difficult without Lynn. I duck into the trees once i see the door open. A girl with brown hair and blue eyes walk out. She looks across the trees for a second before her eyes stop on me. She pulls out her hunter's knife before she walks forward. "You must be Kai right?" She asks stopping a few feet in front of me. I stand up keeping my eyes on her knife. "How do you know me?" She gives me a small smile. "Justin sent me, he said you'll be here."

"Why is your knife out?" I ask looking at her knife again. "Just in case." She looks inside again. "Come on, we need to hurry if you don't wanna get caught." The girl says placing her knife back in it's hostler. She slides her card into the reader it beeps green and the door unlocks. "I never caught your name." I say walking through into the building. "I'm Zoey."

"How can i get in without burning?" I ask confused. "Justin and i disabled them." She says giving me a quick smile. I nod. "Well the thank you but i need to get Tristan and leave." She frowns slightly. "Tristan's a mess." She says as she opens a door for me. We were on the second a floor i past Taylor's room her name was still in it's place. I look into the room it looked like a normal living room. Justin and Tristan stood over the table. In the middle of the table sat a map that was slowly burning. Justin looked up at me his eyes still glowing purple. "Kai? What are you doing here?" He asks as the purple glow slowly fades. "Tristan, Grace wants you back for the meeting." He nods. "We have great news." Tristan says walking over to me. "What's the news?" I ask. "We found the rogue vampires." Tristan says with a smile.
