It all started on a summer night when I woke up to the sound of rocks being thrown at my window. I rubbed my eyes to get the sleep out of them then I placed my feet on the carpet and walked over to my window. I look out the window to see my best friend Ary. “Hey Ary, what are you doing here?” I opened my window to let him in “My parents got into a fight and I didn't want to stay home,” he said as he crawled into my room. “What about Neil?” I asked him. “Neil is staying at his friend’s house” he plopped himself onto my bed and melted into the blankets. “Move over Ary, I can’t lay on my bed if you take half the space up” he rolled over on his side and laid beside him, “Do you think the universe does a thing on purpose?” Ary rolled over and we both were now face to face. “What do you mean?” I sighed “I mean, why are you here? Why am I here? Are we meant to be here at this time?” Ary chuckled “You talk too much” I have always had feelings for Ary but I never wanted to say it out loud. “Ary?” “yeah?” I stood up from my bed “can I tell you a secret?” “yeah you know you can tell me anything” I looked a the mirror on my wall and then walked bad to sit on my bed “I like you” I closed my eyes and waited for the worst. “I like you too”
