Chapter 8“Fifteen minutes to Harmony station,” Tai announced over the PA from his pilot seat. “Secure for docking.”
The door from the flight deck into the lounge was open and he heard Max moving about in there, clearing up anything loose in case of a bumpy docking. In a few minutes he came into the flight deck and strapped into the seat at the monitoring station behind Tai.
Harmony was a small place, mostly a way station for ships to make a stop to take on fresh supplies and let the crew take shore leave. Not a lot of cargo trading went on there. The Vagabond was due to make a stop there in five days. It was better to wait there for them than risk missing them trying to intercept them in space.
