What started as lovely wedding of a happy couple turned into a tragedy when the groom was shot and the bride's white wedding dress was splattered with the crimson blood...

My story starts with the death of my husband on the wedding altar, widowed on the very day I was married. Ethan the love of my life lay motionless on the floor as the blood pooled around him.

The only thing that flashed in my head after hearing the gun shot was the very night I had seen him. The man I dreaded the most. The man I had been evading from all my life but now, there was no escape. He had found me and killed me once more!

My mortal remains were standing shaking at the very sight of Ethan's body but my soul had passed on. There was no purpose left in my life and with him coming back, I doubt I'd live any longer.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

when evading your past is not an option, Eleanor Grace jumps back to confront her past that has been tormenting her. What secrets will be revealed from her past and how will she bring her murdered husband to justice is a tale of our widowed bride to be told...

Prologue
Her POV: Everything that’s ever existed is bound to be destroyed… but, does that mean it never existed? Not really! Every passing second is inching us closer to the oblivion, it all ends when we attain it, but why bother about something that is bound to happen sometime later. This is my story which was supposed to be a fairy tale but turned out to be a living nightmare that I began to evade. This began from the day I crossed paths with him and then my life turned upside down His POV: There was a loud noise from the impact in the midst of the forest filled with tall and lush green trees and the delicious smell of mud from the drizzle had given whiff to the sweet rotting smell of blood… The horn blaring from the head resting on the wheel. The contrasting beauty of the forest and the tragedy that lay in the car were just as contrasting as the crimson blood flowing down the pale skin with the hand extending out of the door as if it were reaching out for something or someone… The scene of tragedy was washed over with a stormy rain. Cold and lonely, I awaited you to come for me but that never happened and the scene was sealed by the forest for an eternity in silence… After an year from this… I see you again. It was your wedding and you seemed to be smiling like the most happiest bride that could ever be. I could see you from behind the curtains of your home where you were hanging out with your girl pals a night before your wedding. Can you forget me that easily? I was the one you had loved and I am your one and only! Your first and last. Don’t you realize? I was the only person to make you happy. Why does it seem like you are happy without me? Or are you putting on a show for others to see? You definitely are, there is no way you could forget me and be so happy. After all, I was the one who gave you all the happy memories. You throw your head back and laugh at something your friend must have said. You add something to it and then there is another roar of laughter, louder than the one before. You stroke your hair with a smile that drips with pride and nod elegantly at your friends while showing them off your ring. I watch you from afar as your friends check out the huge diamond ring on your finger. Do you realize that I could have given you a ring much bigger and elegant one had you accepted me. I could have given you the world had you not ruined this for us an year ago! A meaningless gathering and a bunch of fools to show off that stupid little ring on your finger isn’t the kind of happiness you deserve. If you were mine, I’d show you off to the world and give you all the pleasures you truly deserve. An year ago… you were mine and I did give you the world but you were playing tricks and games with me. Why do you women play tricks and not accept what you truly want? I looked at you as you sprang out of the chair and were looking around the bushes I was watching you from. You know me, you sense my presence and I have the same affect on you as you have on me. This love is unforgettable and you just proved it by sensing my presence. I wish to get you and soon you will have me and we will make our little family. A family that you can never leave. Women are fools, they swing to the air they breathe that’s why it makes sense to give them a family to look after. No idle moment, means no stupid thoughts which means you will be tied down to me and will think of no one other than me! I picked up a rock and wrapped it inside the letter I had been planning to give you. I wish you had not dared to move ahead with your life without me. This is going to be the beginning of hell just wait and watch as I expose your past and punch you with that dirty secret you’ve been hiding from everyone. What would you do, when you face your past that you’ve been miserably failing to evade? Would that person, whose ring you show off, would he accept you after knowing about it? Would your girl pals still like you? This is the story of your past and my present. Soon you will come to realize that I am the only one who is bound to be with you while the others are going to abandon you like cowards!
