Chapter 5.Doctors appoitment

After Asher and I get off the phone with our parents we head straight to Charlottes office for my appointment.Once we arrive we are ushered straight back to a room.We are only waiting about a minute before my best friend walks in and wraps me in a hug."Are you ready to see your little one".she asks."As ready as I will ever be". I respond anxiously as I lay on the exam table and pull my shirt up Waiting for Charlotte to begin my ultrasound."This is going to feel cold".Charlotte says as she puts the gel on my bellie.She begins moving the ultrasound wand around my bellie and I freeze as I hear my child's heart beat for the first time.I let out a breath as Charlotte begins to speak."Your baby is completely healthy and you are about 4 months along.Would you like to know the gender of your baby."Charlotte says with a smile on her face.I think about it for a second before I answer her."I think I want to wait until he or she is born to know the gender."I say thoughtfully".Charlotte nods her head in understanding before passing me a towel to clean the gel of my stomach it's at that moment that I process what she said."Wait a minute I am 4 months along already".I yell in a panic."Yes you are.You need to calm down because it's not like your going to he going into labor anytime soon actually your due date is July 1st."Charlotte says and I just about pass out."Asher can you please call mom and dad and tell them we're on the way?"I ask."Sure sis." He says pulling out his phone and making the call.
