Chapter 4.The phone call

Evelyn(Violets mom)

I am sitting in my living room cuddling on the sofa with my husband Sebastian and arguing with him over the latest episode of 90 day fiance when my phone rings and my daughters name comes up on the caller id.I hurriedly answer the phone having a feeling that something is very wrong as she is normally in court at this time of the day.

The phone call

Me: "Hey sweetie what's going on?"

Violet:"Is dad there"? Violet says her voice sounding weak and broken.

Me: "Yes he is,your on speaker"I respond worry lacing my voice

Violet: "OK so Asher and I are going to stop by after my doctors appoitment so it will probaby be about an hour or so but I am going to try to explain some of what you need to know now".

Me:"Ok sweetheart do your best and whatever you can't explain over the phone you can when you get here".

Lilac:"Ok sounds good one question is it ok if I crash with you guys tonight if not I will stay with Asher".

Me: "of course you can you do not even have to ask same goes for Asher as I know he's probably with you right now".

Violet:"OK thank you so much and your right I am with asher right now. I became suddenly ill at work so asher took me home but when we got home something didn't feel right so asher went in and I stayed in the car when he came back he told me that he caught my husband balls deep inside of his best friends Ex wife".

Me:"Oh god sweetheart I am so so so sorry I can't even imagine what your going through right now"

Violet:"I will be alright eventually and on the bright side of things Ashers best friend is extremely hot and I know he would never cheat on me as he has been cheated on if we ever started dating in the future.I have to go my appoitment is in 15 minutes so I have to go but I love u both and will see you later" she says.

Me:"OK sweetheart I love you both more then you will ever know".I say ending the call and turning to my husband.

End call

I turned toward my husband tears streaming down my face as I feel my heart break for my daughter.I feel my husband's arms wrap possessivly around me and pulls me even closer to him then I already am and just holds me as I cry my heart out for my daughter even though I know it's not going to help her right now but I know exactly what she's going through as my first husband not her or ashers father thankfully I never had any kids with him cheated on me with my sister and broke my heart to the point I thought I would never love again but then I met my true soul mate and now we have been married for 25 years and I can't imagine myself with anyone else."Love look at me".Sebastian says placing his fingers under my chin and gently forcing me to look him in the eyes."Please don't ever think about what he did again I know you never expected our children to go through it I certainly never did but I have a feeling Ashers best friend my end up being her second chance love and the true love of her life I know you heard the way she talked about him hell she never even talked about her soon to be Ex husband like that and you know as well as I do that she was at one point head over heels in love with him".Sebastion says and I kiss him passionalty putting all of my love for him into the kiss and I know he can taste my salty tears as he reciprocates the kiss with just as much love making my pantys soaking wet immediately only pulling back when we need to breath.Leaning with his forehead against mine,"Will you go on a date with me this Friday night"?Sebastian asks me with nothing but love in his voice."Of course I will"I say pulling him into another passionate kiss.
