Chapter One
Freya might have been the brightest most kind hearted girl in Shirahama carrying a smile wherever she went. She loved it in Shirahama with it's beautiful views and breathtaking beaches. She lived there ever since she was little. But she always did feel and know she was meant for something different... something much more. Well, more than helping around home, community work and distributing veggies. She loved it either way truly, she did...but she knew she was made for something simply just out of this world. Yes, something completely different from her everyday life was a comforting thought as she made her way through the light darkness.
It wasn't long before she climbed up a little cliff not too far from home, it was her favourite secret spot to watch the sun rise every single day...it was kind of her own little tradition. Every sun rise, sun set...when the sky was full and clear, she'd spend it there, all on her own. It was simply her best place to be in the entire world. Quietly walking up the steps, she noticed someone...a boy sitting at the very edge of the cliff. It was still a bit dark for her to make out exactly who it was.' Maybe a boy from town?' she thought as she paused by the low steps of the cliff not to be noticed. Although she was certain she was the only one who came up here. She stood still staring at his back profile for the longest time. For some reason, it was captivating.
The sun started peeking through the clouds and slowly made its way through the sky. She slowly approached him and softly tapped his shoulder...he turned at the touch and she could clearly see him now. She was struck by how ethereal and otherworldly he looked. His silvery white hair and piercing blue eyes seemed to glow in the rising sun. His features were perfectly sculpted, like he was crafted by the gods themselves. But his looks weren't the only thing compelling. She felt something she had never felt before. It was as though she had been searching for this moment her entire life and realized...that this must be it. The 'different', the 'out of this world thing' that she felt deep inside. He must be it, she didn't fall inlove with that fact only..but also with him.
She couldn't help softly smiling as her gaze was burnt into his eyes. She saw something so beautiful in them. Like a billion galaxies.
Well ofcousre realizing she might have been making him uncomfortable, with her best smile forward and her eyes twinkling with contempt she warmly said "Hi, I couldn't help but notice you over here....Ohayo". He shrugged as he seemed a bit perplexed saying "O-ohayo" acknowledging Freya's greeting.
Freya beamed at his cute reaction thinking this couldn't get any better!
"My name is Freya! I'm a local here. Are you maybe a tourist? Visitor? I've never seen you before. What's your name?" Then Freya's heart might have sank a little as his gaze turned cold and he looked away from her.
