THE PRICE OF PASSION (HIS TO CLAIM) ❤️🩵. CHAPTER 1: THE MAN I SOLD MYSELF TO
RATED: NOT FOR READERS BELOW THE AGE OF 18 🔞🔞🔞 Contains s****l content, raw materials, and explicit activities. NAOMI’S POV I stared at him for a while, my heart pounding in my chest. Then it hit me— Jesus Christ. What’s he doing here? Oh my God… oh my God… Panic surged through me as I turned away, rushing back into the building. Where’s Jeremy? Before I could take another step, a strong hand gripped my arm, yanking me into a secluded corner. My back slammed against the cold glass wall of the hotel. “What a brief surprise…” His deep voice sent a shiver down my spine. He stepped closer, and I felt suffocated by his dark, overpowering aura. “Who… who are you?” I stammered, trying to keep my composure. I swear, I’m losing it. Him? How? A smirk curled on his lips. “You really don’t know me?” He tilted his head, eyes dark with amusement. “Strange… because I clearly remember you screaming my name sixty-eight times that night in my bed.” His fingers brushed my chin, but I jerked my face away. “I—I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I whispered, my voice betraying me. His hand slipped down to my waist, pulling me flush against him. “Sir…” I gasped, my eyes widening. His fingers traced a slow path from my lower back up to my chest, sending an unexplainable heat through my body. What’s wrong with me? Why do I feel this… this pull? His head dipped lower, lips inches from mine. No… no… I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the inevitable contact. But it never came. Instead, his touch disappeared. I opened my eyes in confusion, only to see him smirking at me. Hands tucked casually into his suit pockets, he turned and walked away—like nothing had just happened. Jesus. I’m f*cked. How did a year suddenly feel like just two days? “Naomi?” A hand touched my shoulder, making me jolt. I spun around to find Jeremy staring at me with concern. “Geez, you scared me,” I exhaled, trying to compose myself. “Where were you?” “Sorry,” he said, taking my hand. “I was checking if my friends had arrived. Come on, the guy with the drug is here. I’ll introduce you.” I adjusted my heels and followed him into a crowded hall filled with his friends—some already smoking. Jeremy pulled me forward. “Guys, this is my girlfriend, Naomi Williams.” I forced a polite smile, my mind still spinning. Then my gaze landed on one man. Why isn’t he looking up? Jeremy continued, “This is Mr. Whayne… He’s the one with the drug.” Mr. Whayne. The name alone made my stomach drop. No. No, no, no. My hands clenched into fists at my sides as a familiar bodyguard approached. I knew that man. I knew him. He handed Mr. Whayne a cigarette. “Come on, Naomi, go light his cigarette,” Jeremy nudged me forward. “He can help you.” My hands trembled as I picked up the lighter from the table. Mr. Whayne placed the cigarette between his lips, and our eyes locked as I brought the flame closer. His stare was intense, calculated. Stop looking at me like that. He exhaled a slow cloud of smoke. “Which drug?” “Heart Guard,” I replied, barely above a whisper. He studied me for a long moment. Jeremy cleared his throat. “How much is it?” Mr. Whayne turned his gaze to him. “It’s not on the market yet.” “I know, but please… You could help her. At least consider it.” Mr. Whayne leaned back in his seat, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “I’ll give it to you for five hundred thousand dollars.” What? I froze. Why does he keep bringing up that number? I clenched the hem of my dress. Please, God… don’t let him say anything in front of Jeremy. Jeremy pulled me back. “Let me handle it, Naomi. It’s fine.” But Mr. Whayne’s lips curled into something sinister as he whispered, “Remember, those values were very important to you… and your sister.” My breath hitched. Jeremy tugged me again. “Come on, Naomi, I said it’s fine.” But I couldn’t move. I couldn’t stop staring at the man who once made me feel like nothing more than a cheap wh*re. Mr. Whayne stood up. “Listen, Jeremy… She’s the one who needs the medicine. I suggest she comes to see me herself.” With that, he walked away. I turned and met the cold stare of his bodyguard—David. I remember you. I remember both of you. How could I ever forget the man I sold my dignity to? How could I forget the man who made me feel worthless? Jeremy wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. “Shh… It’s okay. Mr. Whayne is considerate. Trust me, he’ll help you and your sister.” I nodded numbly, but deep down, I wasn’t so sure. Would he really help me? Or was he just playing another cruel game? ⸻ TBC… 🔥 What do you think of Mr. Whayne? 🔥 Was this a strong opening?
