Chapter 8
During the day on Friday, Harper started getting excited about working with the kids. He spent his time online searching for possible song choices which were a) not lame b) said something worthwhile and c) weren’t crazy difficult to play or sing. He came up with a list of about twenty songs for them to consider, but he prayed the kids would have suggestions of their own. The fundraiser performance was supposed to be a collaboration and he really wanted the kids to have a voice, literally and figuratively, in the set list.
Harper was still thinking about the fundraiser and the decisions he still faced as he parked the truck at Tomorrow House, but all that would wait for morning. Tonight was about having a good time. He and Lucas were having a quick dinner and attending Jam Night
