A desire for love and fortune

Dave!!Julie!!We will be back by next week. We have to leave now so we don’t miss our flight.Their parents said(Mrs and Mrs Leonard). They had booked a flight earlier that week to travel out for a business trip together. They left Dave with his younger sister, who was only 13 years of age and his sister was 8. They left for the airport and when they got there they got onto their own airplane. Upon reaching their destination, the pilot announced that the weather was getting cloudy and the passengers should wait for whatever happened, as the plane was getting way too faulty and the chances of it getting crashed became higher. It was up to 20 minutes later when the plane finally crashed that took the lives of all passengers on board. Including Mr and Mrs Leonard. News was passed on to the various families and when it got to Dave he was so shocked and depressed, but decided not to tell his younger sister. He knew he had to fend for himself and her and start taking responsibility for his sister. They had to drop out of school in the meantime. He had promised himself that his sister was going to get back to school no matter what and he was going to give her all she desired and make her what she didn’t lack. He was so young that nobody would agree to hire a young child like him. He had to rely on moving with the big guys in the street. He realised they were into a business but they wouldn’t teach anybody unless they liked. These guys were the same ones who usually bullied his sister and he wanted to get close to them to also take revenge on them. He couldn’t take them all down at once. He came up with a plan to be their friend and, at the same time, he would also earn a living. These boys helped people to bring down goods whenever they arrived and they would be paid a little change. He got to meet them one day and met the boss whom everyone referred to as THE DOMINATOR. He was a no-nonsense person and people were scared of him. Dave, being a very brave boy, decides to bring up courage to go and meet him. He pleaded with him that he needed it to help sustain himself and his sister before he got of age to work in a better place. He refused initially and said he was too young for it and he couldn’t take in a small child, but at the same time, he could let him stay there and watch and maybe assist with the cleaning and then he would pay him each day. Dave wasn’t content with this decision, but he didn't have any other option and decided to take the opportunity.He at the same time swore to get closer to the boss. He wanted the boss to like him well and trust him so he could report his boys to him for bullying not just his sister but other girls. He couldn’t do this now because the boss trusts his boys too well to do that. He started working there as a cleaner in the warehouse and got paid well, at least enough to feed his sister and himself and cloth her. He promised her that she would be going back to school soon. He later got used to the job and soon the boss called him and promoted him to start working alongside the other workers. He started getting paid really well and the boss trusted him so well. He reported them to the boss and told him to keep his name anonymous. The boss decided to spy on his workers and he noticed how they bully and harass ladies and girls carelessly. He sacked them and asked them to leave. Dave was so happy he had achieved what he wanted and he was now able to make a good living for himself and his sister. *************** Years later, Dave was already a full-grown teenager and one day on his way to work he decided to take his sister alongside him. They were about to cross the road immediately when a car flashed at speed and didn't notice them and accidentally hit Dave and he fell to the ground unconscious. The man inside came out immediately. He was shocked at the sight of the scene he had caused. He immediately rushed Dave and took the sister alongside him to the hospital. He got there and made sure the murderer attended to him immediately. After some minutes, Dave finally woke up and the man was really happy. The man happened to be MR OWEN. A very rich judge in the city. He was known for his kindness and people always respected him and his family. He was also a business executive who invested in many kinds of business. He was very popular and he had company’s and streets attached to his name. He had hotels and other businesses. He found out that Dave and his sister were orphans. He decided to take them in and immediately they got discharged from the hospital he took them to his place. They were so mesmerized at the sight of the place. Julie was so wowed at the sight of the mansion. She had never seen such a massive house in her entire life. Mr Owen asked one of his workers to take them to the house at the back of the main building. He called Dave and asked him some questions if he would love to go back to school to finish up. Dave was so happy and he agreed. He was studying business in school. Julie, on the other hand, also got into high school and was doing well as time went by. He also concluded that they would only help or assist with the cleaning of the garden and washing of his cars. He took them in as his own and made sure they never lacked a thing. He was really so proud of Dave as comments came on from his school that, despite the setbacks he had in life, he was still doing great in class. He topped his classes, which made him the overall best. Girls were drooling over him as he grew up to be a very charming young man. The sparks in his eyes always get them. His smile alone makes one heart melt . It was really hard to hate him. He was a very intelligent student and hardworking young man. He had every characteristic that any girl would desire for her boyfriend or husband to have. People were ready to go miles just to please him . He was indeed the center of attraction in school. Me Owen felt like a proud dad.
