Serena's POV.
Richard approached, asking, "What's going on here?"
I couldn't see his face since my back was to him. When he reached me, he gasped and said, "Let go, Serena."
I shook my head, refusing. He repeated his command, and when I still didn't comply, he physically pulled me away.
I breathed heavily, staring at Penny, who was clutching her bleeding ear. I didn't say a word.
"She deserves it," I thought to myself, feeling a surge of satisfaction. I spat out the blood in my mouth.
Richard looked disappointed. "What's the meaning of this?" he asked.
I weakly replied, "Well, ask your side chick."
He furrowed his brow. "She's not my side chick," he corrected.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever.”
I didn't care about anyone's feelings at this moment. All I could think about was about me.
