Chapter Six

Zander's P.O.V

After we used mouth-to-mouth and got her breathing, we carried Sarah back to the cabin, Everyone was freaking out. Her parent's still weren't back, Doug got his phone wet when he jumped in to save her, Matt and Joe's were in the cabin and me and the girls were to busy either freaking out or trying to calm the one's that were freaking out down.

'Hey Zander, come here' Doug yelled to me. I let Katie go and ran over to him. 'Do you have your phone? We need to get hold of her parent's to get their f*****g ass' here now!' I patted my pockets and pulled it out. Katie ran over to me and grabbed it.

'I'll phone them' I nodded and she walked away, followed by the other girls. I turned back to face my friends.

'Are you ok?' He nodded.

'Yeah, im fine, it's just, this is my fault. If I wasn't rude to her before then she wouldn' have run out the cabin and she would probably be in bed sleeping, not almost drowning in the lake.' I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of ear-shot of the others.

'Doug, this isn't your fault. Whoever was down the lake, it's their fault. They left her to drown, She's probably going to love you because you saved her life...twice.' He nodded.

'But-'

'No but's. I think we should all go to bed now. You coming back to our cabin?' He was about to answer when Katie came running over. She passed me my phone. and she didn't look happy. 'What's wrong?'

'We need to check out the news.' She walked over to the TV and turned it on, flipping through the channels until she found the one she was looking for. The News.

'Due to the recent thunderstorm in Green Lake, the river has swollen up and washed away the only entrance and exist to the new summer camp that was set to open in just a weeks time. Luckily, no one had arrived yet and the camp is abandoned. Fire workers are working to fix the bridge, but there will be a delay, of almost 2 weeks. The summer camps first season has been cancelled-' Matt turned the TV off and threw the remote away.

'This is Bull!, WE'RE here!!!' We all looked at each other. We had bigger problems to deal with at the moment, and the fact we're abandoned here...Just made everything 100% worse...

Surely Sarah's parents will get us out of here... hopefully before whoever is creeping around in the woods decides to come back...
