Chapter Two 

Zander's Point of View

'DINNER TIME GUY'S!' I heard Katie shout from out side the cabins. I smiled and rolled off my bunk. Doug was still listening to music and trying to figure out my comment from earlier. He looked up at me and pulled his head phones out.

'Where are you going?' I looked at him, shaking my head.

'It is dinner time. Get your ass up and come with me' I told him, turning around and leaving the cabin. I think he was following me, I wasn't sure, but as soon as I stepped out, I stopped caring. Katie was standing there, smiling at me. I smiled back. I noticed Matt walk off towards the dinner hall with Peyton, Joe was just randomly bopping along behind them.

'So, Did you settle in well?' She asked. I nodded. 'Good'

'So....what was up with your friend from before? I asked, she looked at me, confused. 'Sarah?'

'Ohhhh, nothing, she's fine' She didn't seem to want to talk about it. There must be a reason why, so I didn't push it. 'The weather forecast said there's a really bad storm coming, I hope it doesn't make any trouble for us. The only way to actually get in and out of this camp is using the little bridge up the road' She informed me as we walked together to the dining hall.

'WOW, its big in here' I laughed a little, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. Matt and Peyton were sat down at a table by the window. They seemed to be getting along great. I hope Matt remembers he has a wife back home and wasn't listening to Doug's stupid comments about what they didn't know, won't hurt them. 

Speak of the devil, Doug walked past me and went to sit on a table in the corner alone, Jenna and Joe were talking and eating their dinner right in the middle of the room and Sarah was also eating alone, while on her lap top. 'So, I'm hungry, want to sit with me while we have dinner?' she smiled and nodded.

'Yo, Zand, over here!' Joe yelled, waving his arm. I picked up some food and went over to him, Katie followed with her dinner. 'Hey, this is Jenna, Jenna this is Zander' I smiled at her.

'Hi Jenna' she smiled back and waved. I guess she's shy. Soon, Matt and Peyton came over to join us. We were all sat having a laugh when I noticed, Doug had left. What is up with him lately? I shrugged it off and went back to talking with the others.

Doug's point of view

So, what are you doing right now. I am f*****g bored out of my skull. Trust me, any thing is better then where I am right now.

 I typed into my phone and hit send. I have been randomly talking to this girl for about 6 months. Of course I haven't told her I was married or any thing, but it doesn't like that. We have told each other alot of things. Personal things, private things. Weird, I have never met this girl, but some how, I trust her. While I was thinking, she sent a message back.

Nothing much, I'm bored too. Working..sorta :) . Awww...why are you bored? Where are you? x'

I smiled reading her message and began writing one back.

I don't know, someplace for the summer. It is so boring. We wanted to break from my s**t, and so we signed up for some summer job, nothing ia going to be happening for a week or so,  but then all the 'fun' starts. x

 I sent it back.

 Closing my phone, I looked up at every one, they all seem to be having a blast, laughing and joking. What ever.

BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Ohhhhh another message. I smiled and quickly read it.

Yeah, well, I bet its still more fun than where I am. My friends are with the guys of their dreams and I'm all alone like some freak :( x

I frowned. She doesn't think much about herself.

Don't say that. I'm always telling you not to say that. Ok, you are not a freak. And go get the guy of your dreams. I'm sure he's out there some where. You just have to find him. :) x

I send it and waited.

He's here, but he's not even bothering to look up. He's soo f*****g grumpy... Oh well, lol :) xx

Weird, I wonder what she means.

Why who is the guy of your dreams? If he's not even noticing you, he's not worth it xxx

I put three x's on the end, normally we just put one or two but what ever.

I wish he would though. Hey, I g2g, but speak to you soon ok xxx

I was a little upset she had to go, but I guess she's busy.

Yeah, you got it. Bye. xxx

 I closed my phone and put it in my back pocket, 

Zander and the rest of the guys and girls were laughing and having fun. I rolled my eyes and stood up, no one even noticed me leave. I walked towards the door, just randomly looking around the room till I saw the girl from before. She was sat along to, eating her dinner and on her computer. I smiled and walked out. Maybe I'll phone my wife or some thing... 

Yes, Im that bored...
