Chapter One Zander's Point of view  'OK, remind me, who has the awesome idea to do this?' Doug once again asked sarcastically. We all looked at him. I wish he would change the record, it's getting pretty lame now. Every one turned and pointed at me. 'Zander's' they all said at once. 'OK, sure, it was my idea to take these jobs, but was it just my idea to get away for the summer? um...NO!' I yelled at them. If they didn't want to do this, they didn't have to. They could have just stayed at home with their wives and girlfriends. It would have been quieter that way. No f*****g moaning. 'How long till we get to this place' Matt started to moan. I sighed. Its like baby sitting 3 over grown toddlers. It is so annoying. I looked down at the clock in the dash bored. 'About another hour. Just go to f*****g sleep if you are that bored.' I told him. He kicked the back of my seat and mumbled some lame ass threat about ''sleeping with one eye open''. Honestly, these guys are worse than kids for pulling pranks on each other...But it never gets old or boring, unless.. you are on the receiving end of it all. 'I hope there is gonna at least be fit chicks here' Doug suddenly spoke up for the first time with out moaning. I turned my head to look at him. 'Are you serious? You are married!' He shrugged his shoulders. 'What Michelle doesn't know, Can't harm her, Can it?' all the guys chuckled. Doug smiled at me and looked out his window again. 'You know, guys like you are the reason why women don't trust men. You know that?' I joked. He turned and winked with a smile. 'You are such a pig Doug'. 'Thanks buddy' I sighed and shook my head. 'Hey, let's play a game?' 'Sure, what are you thinking?' Joe asked. I thought about it for a moment. 'Well, what about, every one has to tell the others a secret that they have never told another soul before' I suggested. Doug suddenly Sat up and turned to look at me. 'Ok, you first!' I smiled. 'OK...um...' I had to think for a minute. 'Oh...okay, once...way before I was with Gina..and way before the band..and it hasn't happened since-' 'Spit it out!' Matt suddenly yelled at me. I smiled at his choice in words. 'That's the point guys, I didn't' They didn't get what I meant at first, but as soon as they did, Doug's jaw dropped open. I looked over at him and shrugged my shoulders. 'Hey, you wanted me to share one!' 'I said to share, not scare'. 'What, you are honestly telling me it really bothers you guys?' I asked. They all looked at each other. 'No, of course not Zand, Just, keep your distance this summer' Joe joked. 'f**k you, You wish!' I yelled back. Every one laughed at him. He just flipped me off and turned to look out the window. 'Ok, Matty boy, its your turn' 'Oh s**t, okay..um...OK, I got one.im still the coolest person you know, but...you know that song from Titanic?' 'You mean ''My heart will go on'' by Celine Dion?' Doug questioned. 'Yeah, that's the one, well, I kinda, like it, and listen to it some times.' 'How often is some times Matt?' I yelled looking at him in the mirror. He sighed. 'Like, a lot' We all burst out laughing. 'f**k you! You sucked off a guy!' I shut up quickly. 'Hey, Let's not play any more, I'm losing respect for you guys pretty quickly' Doug joked with a laugh. At the same time, me and Matt started yelling 'Hell no's and 'we did it's. He just rolled his eyes. 'Ok, fine, When I was 7, I was messing around in the garden and dad has left his new guitar out on the patio. He has taken away one of my favourite toys and I wanted to get him back, but I didn't want to get in to trouble so...I can't remember how, but I snapped the neck on it and blamed it on my brother. And I felt so bad after wards because he got in SO much s**t' He started laughing, the rest of us joined in. 'Doug, you are an ass to do that' he nodded. We all laughed more.    About an hour later, we came to a dirt road with a big wooden sign and an arrow, telling us the camp was just up the road and on the left. It looked pretty peaceful and quiet around here. I know there was a lake there so that will be nice to hang by at night and when we get breaks. The guys weren't up for this as much as me, but they were on some level excited about it. 'Ok Guys, we are here' I told them as we pulled in. The kids weren't due to arrive for about a week or so, giving us time to relax and settle in a bit.  I stopped the car and we all got out. Doug came and helped me with getting some of the bags out of the boot. While Matt and Joe went over to the main cabin to tell them we had arrived.  I looked around, the place was pretty deserted. You could hear nothing except birds singing in the trees. It was so relaxing!  'Hello?' 'AHH GOD!' Doug yelled, Scaring me in the process. I looked over the boot and saw a small group of girls.  'Sorry, Didn't mean to scare you, Do you need any help?' One girl asked. She had long-ish black hair, probably only about 17 or 18. She had the friendliest smile.  'Um...sure' I said politely while Doug just totally ignored them and took out a Marlboro to smoke. I sighed and rolled my eyes. 'I'm Zander, this is Doug' They looked at him and smiled. Again he just ignored them. 'O..k.., Well, I'm Sarah, This is Katie, Peyton and Jenna.' she told me. I smiled at them all. 'Um...were those your friends we saw going into the main cabin?' she asked. 'Yeah, why?' I asked back, curious. 'Oh, my parents aren't here at the minute. They just went out into town, but they will be back after dinner, You are the first counsellors to arrive...You are counsellors right?' I smiled and nodded. 'Ok, cool' She smiled, I looked over her head and saw Matt and Joe coming back over to us. 'No one is here dude, you sure we are in the right place?' He asked as he approached, then he noticed the group of girls. 'Oh hey, girls' he smiled at them. I noticed one of them giggled a little. The girl talking, Sarah and her friend Katie seemed to roll their eyes at their friend. Which was amusing to see. 'So...Do you know where our cabin is?' Matt asked them. 'Yes, I can show you!' One of them suddenly yelled. Matt smiled at her as she stepped forward. 'Hi, I'm Peyton' She held out her hand. Matt took it. I'm Matt, nice to meet you, Peyton' She walked off with Matt close behind her, they were just talking, but he grabbed his bags first, at least that's some thing. I grabbed mine and my guitar case, almost dropping it right after, luckily Sarah caught it before it fell to the floor. 'Need a hand there?' she asked. I looked up at her. 'You sure?' I questioned. She just nodded. She smiled and grabbed my guitar. Her friends helped with some of the other bags, but Doug grabbed all of his stuff, shoved ear phones in, messed with his iPod and walked away with out even looking at them. There was no need for him to be so rude. We all followed Matt and Peyton (who were very deep in conversation) all the way over to where the cabins were. Me and Doug had to share while Matt and Joe had to as well. 'Ok, well, We will leave you to get settled In and do you want us to come and get you at dinner time?' The girl, who I learned was called Katie, asked. 'Yeah please,' She smiled and nodded at me. I noticed her friend looking at Doug who was laying down in his bunk, still listening to music and playing on his blackberry. She seemed down about some thing. I walked over to her. 'Are you okay?' She snapped out of it and looked at me, looking kinda embarrassed. 'Oh god, sorry, yeah, I'm fine. See you later' She said quickly and left the cabin. Katie watched her leave. She turned back to me and smiled. 'Bye Zander' She said happily. 'Bye Katie' I used my flirting voice. She giggled a little and left. As soon as they were out the cabin door, I turned around, picked up my book that was on the top of my bag and threw it at Doug. 'WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!?!!!' He yelled. 'You are such a f*****g i***t!' I yelled back and went to unpack my things, leaving him sat there, probably very confused...
