Chapter Nine

Chapter Nine 

Doug's point of view. 

Hey, What's up? Did I upset you or some thing?

I read the message and deleted it. I was gonna try and avoid her more then I was trying to before. I don't want to get involved in this any more. Though, I only stopped talking to her about 2 hours ago and already...I miss it. I sighed and rolled over, trying to get some sleep. 

I was really tired all of a sudden, but since Zander and Katie were 'Busy' as were the others, the only place I could get some sleep in was Sarah's cabin, lucky she wasn't here, but of course, me and my big mouth, the second I thought it, the door opened and a very up set looking girl came in. I tried to ignore her as she past me. I looked up at her, but she didn't seem to notice me staring.

She walked into the bath room and closed the door quietly, seconds later, I heard her come back out and sit on her bed. I felt bad, she was obviously sad because I didn't text back.

'What's up with you?' I asked, sitting up to look at her, she looked up at me.

'Sorry, did I wake you up?' She asked quietly. Wow, her mood towards me had changed. I shook my head. 'Nothing'. I stood up and walked over to sit next to her.

'I think we might be cabin buddies this summer. All of our friends seem to be sharing cabins now'. She hummed. 'What, aren't you going to put up a fight again?' I joked.

'No. I don't mind'. She reached over and grabbed her lap top and opened it. I made a point of not looking at her computer, I know how annoying it is when some one's looking over your shoulder.

'Want me to move?' She shrugged. 'Ooooo..kkkkkk'. I leaned back and rested against the wall. She leaned back as well as she logged on.

'So, Why are you guys here? What's your story?'

'We just wanted a break from every thing going on at the moment, we lost our best friend a few months ago, and we are all taking it pretty hard'. 

'I'm so sorry to hear that'. she sounded genuine. I just smiled sadly. 'What happened?' 

'He got sick, the doctors didn't pick up on it quick enough'. She placed her hand on my knee. 

'I'm really sorry'. I just nodded. 

'But yeah, any way, when we decided to come here, I don't think any of us really expected this to happen'. I laughed, she smiled and turned to look at me slightly.

'What are you referring to, Being stuck here or your friend's meeting mine?'

'Both'. She smiled and carried on with what she was doing. Making sure she couldn't see what I was doing, I got my phone out and started messing her back. Might as well.

No, you didn't. Sorry I didn't reply early. Well, Sarah, What are you doing? xxx

I sent it, a few seconds later, her lap top beeped and she opened up an email, I took a peek over her shoulder and saw it was the message I just sent her. So it REALLY is her. She started typing and closed it quickly again. When It reached mine, I read what she out and smiled.

Ok, Good, I thought I had upset you. So, you know My real name, what's yours. And im not doing much, I think im in heaven ;P xxx

I replied.

Mine is Doug... And why are you in heaven? ;) xxxx

A few moments later, she sent one back. Its weird were messaging even thought were right next to each other.

Nice name and I am because I am with that super hot guy. Too bad he still probably doesn't notice or like me. xxx

Well, that's not true. Thanks for calling me super hot, I'm so happy to hear that. and for your information...I do notice you and I'm starting to like you

I sent it and waited to see what her reaction was. Her lap top beeped and she read the message. She didn't do any thing for a moment but then she slowly turned her head to look at me.

'Doug?' I smiled.

'Yeah?'. Her reaction wasn't what I thought it would be, In fact, it was far and probably the last way I thought she would react, Her reaction was....
