Joana had decided to send Anna to study in the city because her father didn't want to send her to the city.

he was more focused on Emily and he sold his lands to send Emily to the city and he entolled her in one of the best schools

Joana didn't want her daughter to be left out so she used all her life savings to send Anna to the city to study but Anna went to a public school because Joana didn't have enough money to send her to a private school while Emily was in a private school

before Anna left for the city Joana adviced her to be careful and not be easily fooled by boys and let she not forget that she was betrothed to Desmond.

ANNA pov

it was my first day going to the city I was so excited and anxious because I didn't know anywhere and what to do when I get to the school.i was supposed to board a bus which will take me to the front of the school.

atlast I reached the front of school and the bus stopped and when I came down I saw two buildings one looked expensive and classy while one looked old and rusty I immediately knew the old looking building was my school because my mom already told me that she didn't have enough money to send me to a private school.

I looked at the gate and saw a big poster which reads ELITES MAGIC PUBLIC SCHOOL while the other building was the same name but private

I went through the gates and saw students rushing into and out of the building and I was confused I didn't know where to go until I saw a girl sitting under a tree reading a book I immediately approached her dragging my small luggage with me

"hello please can you show me where the registration office is because I am new here I don't know anywhere "I said

"oh hi you should go to the first building after you turn right "she said

"thank you "I said

I quickly went to where I was directed and went to meet the administrator he gave me a room number and said that I will resume my lectures tomorrow.

I then walked to the hostel opposite the school and walked through the hall looking for my room number and finally I saw the number and I knocked before entering because the administrator told me I had a roommate

after I knocked I entered and I saw that the same girl who gave me directions when I was looking for the registration office I was so happy when I saw her I think she also recognized me and she introduced herself

"my name is Lisa"she said

"my name is Anna"I said

then she took my luggage and helped me keep it on top of my bed and she showed me where the other things I needed was kept and she decided to tell me all the rules about this school
