Emily and her mother had already arrived at the village
and were already sitted when Anna and her mother arrived
when everyone was sitted their father arrived with the village chief and his two grandson's
the village chief was so wealthy and he had two handsome grandson's which where almost the same age as Emily and Anna but older with three and two years
the village chief had betrothed his second grandson to Anna thinking she had great supernatural powers because of how beautiful she was
when it was time for the event to start Emily rushed to the front and said she wanted to be first
Emily showcased her power and the villagers were amazed even her father and the village chief
Emily's mother smiled with pride and she felt fulfilled
after much applause and praises it was time for anna to showcase her own power
Anna walked to the front calmly and she stood there without doing anything
everyone was shocked that she could not do anything
and immediately the villagers began to mock and Insult her
their father was shocked that she couldn't do anything even the village chief
after much insult and mockery Anna mother rushed to where she was and held her and took her back to her seat
it was then time for their father to announce who will be his favorite
and he called Emily name
Anna mother was so sad she began to cry
the village chief also stood up to announce that he will cancel the engagement with Anna that his second grandson will marry Emily instead
when he said that Anna mother could not take it anymore and she took Anna's hand and where about to leave when the village chief first grandson which name was Desmond said he will marry Anna
the village chief wanted to stop his grandson but he was shocked by what his grandson said
Desmond said that if he doesn't get married to Anna in the future he will not go and study in abroad
the village chief had to agree and it was settled Anna is getting married to Desmond while Emily will marry mark which is the second grandson name
