I sat holding my mate who had our child within her womb, I felt nothing how could I? My reason to feel is gone. Her skin pale, her hazel eyes that were once bright and sparkled now looked dull and dark. I held her hand, it was cold. Tears poured down my face when I noticed my sister was also holding her hand.
“Heal her!” I commanded.
Her head drooped, when she looked back at me a tear was on her cheek. “I can’t, I can’t heal her. She used up a lot of his power to heal me and then it took a lot to take down Erik. I don’t have it in me to help her.”
