“I need you to stay here.” I looked at her completely dumbfounded. How could she seriously think I would let her go without me?
“No, I should be with you.” I took Ezra’s hand and pulled it to my lips. My stomach turned in knots, I could feel something was wrong.
“I know, but I trust you to keep him safe.” She pointed towards Illiana’s true mate, thanks to his harsh environment he was kept in he is still weak. “If something happens to Anton my mother will never forgive herself or be able to fight. I need him kept completely safe.” Her captivating green eyes sparkled as the light hit them.
I knew she was right and I sighed, “as you wish for my love.” She smiled and I pulled her into my chest. I walked with her until it was time for her to join the group heading to the islands
