At the end of the day, a tall boy with peachy blonde hair, stands by the front gates of the academy. As he waits, vampires walk past him staring with blood lust. One vampire stops in front of him and licks his fangs. Chachi and Geo run to the gate.
"The f**k are you doing?" Geo says threateningly.
"Just getting a little whiff. Don't you smell him? I bet he's delicious."
"It's against the rules Maro and you know it."
"It's a stupid rule!" Maro spits at Geo's feet.
Chachi steps up, "What would Gigi say?"
The blonde boy looks at the three, "Gigi?"
Maro scoffs, "Do you think she owns me? Come on guys, I only want a little taste."
"A little taste you say?" a feminine voice says behind him.
Maro quickly turns around to see Gigi standing behind him with her arms crossed and Kat stepping up beside her.
"Gianna." he says nervously.
Gigi looks around the boys at Ash, then looks Maro in the eyes.
"What are you doing?" she questions.
"You know me, I was never one to resist showing the new guys whose in charge around here."
Geo scoffs, "And you think that’s you? You amuse me."
Gigi steps closer to Maro, not taking her eyes off his, "That’s really cute. Would you like me to show you who is really in charge?"
Maro lifts his head slightly and clicks his teeth, "That won't be necessary. I had no idea he was a friend of yours. Besides, I only wanted a little bite, I promise to only take a sip if you allow it."
“If you touch him I will kill you, and you will die slowly and very painfully. I can promise you that."
Geo, Chachi and Kat look at Maro with smiles on their faces, while Ash states at Gigi with love in his eyes. Boy did he think she was gorgeous. From the way her long crimson hair fell over her shoulders effortlessly, to the way her lips curled upward slightly as she tried not to smile, all the way to her fiery red and orange eyes that seemed to glow and complete her look perfectly. She even had this pretty Victorian accent that just threw everything together. Vampire or not she was all he had thought about for the past 10 years. He couldn't wait to return home and express his love for her.
"Promises, promises." Maro grins.
"One I can guarantee not to break," Gigi says with confidence.
"Fine, I won't touch him," Maro throws his hands up, surrendering, "for now."
"Leave."
“Alright I will." Maro looks at Ash, snapping his teeth at him before walking off, "See you around human."
Gigi turns towards Ash and stares at him, his face reddens. "H-hey Gi, long time no see huh?"
Gigi's lips part as if she were about to say something but turns around and walks away. "Come on Kat, your house it is."
Kat hugs Ash before walking after Gigi, "Welcome home, it's so good to have you back. We'll catch you guys later." Kat blows Geo a kiss as they get into a large black Hummer and drive away. Ash sighs as he watches the car drive out of sight.

At Kat's house, Gigi stares out of the bedroom window with a concerned look on her face. Kat walks in with two cups of warm blood and hands one to Gigi. "Isn't it great that my mom works at the hospital? I don't know how else we'd get the blood we need. Especially your family."
"Well," Gigi looks at Kat, "we could always go around sucking you guys dry. How does that sound?"
Kat shivers, "Please don't."
Gigi smiles briefly then looks out the window once more. "Gi, what's wrong?"
"I'm just thinking about Ash. He can't be an i***t, right? Why would he want to go to the academy? Why would my parents even agree to that, they know what that school is like."
"Yeah but they also know us. I'm sure they trust that he'll be under our protection," Kat tries to reassure her, sitting back on her bed.
"Protection or not he shouldn't go, I disagree with the decision. I'm going to talk to my father. He should know this isn't a good idea."
"What do you think he'll say?"
Gigi's grip tightens around her cup, "I don't know, hopefully something I want to hear."

At Holly Steak House, Geo, Chachi and Ash wait at a table to be served. Ash looks at his friends happily, "I really missed you guys. You have no idea what I've been through."
Geo smiles at him, "How have you been?"
"I've been good actually. A little traumatized but good none the less. I had to help my dad with a lot of jobs, the stress was real. He takes his work very seriously."
"Surprisingly, so does Gigi."
"Yeah she's tough," Chachi agrees. Ash looks down fiddling with his fingers, "She didn't look very happy to see me."
"Don't take it personally, her hatred for humans has really grown." Geo says.
"But we used to be really good friends."
Geo shrugs, "Well she's changed over the years."
Chachi nods his head, "She'll come around, don't sweat it. She can't hold the fact that you're human against you."
A woman approaches their table, "Hello gentleman, I'll be your server today, are you ready to order?" Geo smiles at her playfully, "Hello Suzi, how are you today?"
"I'm good, and you sir?"
"Fine. I would like something to drink."
"What would you like?"
"Well," he licks lips, "you smell good. Are you on the menu?"
Suzi chuckles, "How about we make a deal? A sip of my blood for a sip of your friends there?"
Geo's smile is immediately replaced with a menacing grimace. "Excuse me?"
Suzi looks down frightened, "I was only joking, forgive me my prince."
"Just take our order."
"Yes sir," she quickly turns to Ash, "what can I get for you?"
"Oh uh, I'll take a chicken burrito please."
"Of course, and for you?"
Chachi looks at the menu before answering, "A rare c-bone steak with a cherry cola."
"Anything else?"
"That'll be all," Geo says, still upset about the joke she made moments ago.
"Right away." Suzi bows and quickly walks away.
Ash watches as the waitress walks away then looks at his friends, "What was that about?"
"She made a joke she shouldn't have," Chachi shrugs.
"About biting me?"
"Yeah, she knows the title he holds and decided to play around with it."
"Title?" Ash looks at Geo, "What title?"
Geo's phone rings, he looks at the screen then to Chachi, "I guess you'll find out."
