Pure Blood (Vampire Queen)

At Vruka Vampire Academy, four teens walk through the lunch line. "Hey, I heard Ash is coming back home today." Geo says with excitement. Chachi jumps in-between the red headed twins, waving his phone around. "Yeah, he text me this morning, said he's gonna pick us up today." Gianna rolls her eyes and pushes him aside, "Get that out of my face. Whose buying lunch?" A small girl with smokey grey pigtails steps beside her, "It's my turn today." She gestures to the lunch lady, "May I have that last chicken sandwich there please? Oh, and a fruit cup. Thank you." She then turns to her friends with a smile, "Oh come on Gigi, don’t you miss Ash? I do, how long has it been, 10 years?" Gigi grabs her drink and heads towards a table, Geo and Chachi follow while Kat pays for their food. "Since my dad sent his on that mission they had to relocate. I guess he finished it?" Geo states. Kat sits down next to Geo, he wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her close. "Isn't he planning on attending school here?" Chachi asks before biting into his sandwich, "I heard that from Gayn a couple days ago." Gigi looks at them shocked, nearly choking on her drink. "He's what? Is he insane, why doesn't he go to the human academy? This is one’s nothing but vampires, he'll get hurt." Chachi nudges her in the arm with his elbow, "I guess we'll just have to have his back." "Wow Gi, I didn't know you cared so much." Kat looks at her friend teasingly. "I don't. I just can't be the only one thinking with my head here. One human, two hundred vampires? If that's not suicide, I don't know what is." Kat opens her fruit cup, "Well it's a good thing you won't let anything happen to him, huh?" Chachi finishes his lunch and pushes his tray aside, "So Gianna.. me and Geo are failing pre-calculus and there is a huge test coming up next week." "And?" "And.. we could really use your help." Gigi rests her head on her wrist, "Why don't you ask my mom, she's the one that teaches that class. Or what about your sister, doesn't she have the highest scores?" Geo sighs deeply, "Mom will work us to death-" "And I'm already tutoring a couple people. I start Monday after school. Sorry but our plans will have to be cancelled, you can come over today though? Then we can meet up with the boys later," their small friend sighed. "Or you can just come to my house." Gigi shrugs. "We'll figure it out," Kat smiles. Geo and Chachi look at Gigi with pleading eyes, "Well?" Gigi looks at them for a moment before sighing, "Fine, but only if one of you buys lunch next time." The two boys high-five each other, "Deal!" "I guess we can start Monday too." , Kat playfully taps Gigi with her foot, "So Gi, Ash is coming back!" Gigi looks at her annoyed, "Are we still on that?" "I'm just saying, you can finally date him like you wanted to when we were kids!" Gigi's face contorts with disgust, "What!" "I think you got that wrong Kit Kat, he liked her, not the other way around," Chachi says. Him and Geo laugh, "10 bucks says he still does." Kat pulls a 10 from her pocket and puts it on the table, "I'll bet." Gigi rolls her eyes, "Can you guys stop?" “But he was so in love with you." Everyone, except Gigi, laugh. "It doesn't matter, it never did." “If that were true, why have you still been wearing the ring he gave you all those years ago?” Gigi looks down at her index finger but says nothing.
