Chapter 6: The Trip

Chapter 6:
Ashton: I feel almost sad yet excited about Sophia learning to shift because that means that she can come home and stay with me where she belongs but I can only help her after she shifts for her first time. So I go to the only people I can think about for help on this matter, my parents. My parents stay at the pack's main house with the beta and their family along with the un mated wolves in the pack. The wolves that find their mates normally get a house built on the pack property so live in and that's what I had done a while ago just to give me a place to go as almost of a fort/clubhouse/guest room kinda thing.
So I head to the pack house and my parents are standing by the door cuz I asked them to be there so we can talk. "Oh darling, I think our son has found her" says my mom to my dad with a big smile "yes my dear Adeline, I think you're right" comments my dad, as I'm just looking at them confused like how can you tell so easily? "Oh dear, it's in the way you walk, the twinkle in your eye, even the way you smell" explains Adeline. I shrug and think yeah that makes sense. "So mom, dad, how do I help her shift. She hasnt yet and only recently found out that we exist let alone that she was one of us. Her name is Sophia Davis and she's amazing but I could use some help with this touchy subject."
My parents ponder this "hmm well how about you invite her here for a week and hopefully during that time she will shift especially since there's a full moon coming in a few days. And when she does we can all be here to help her, the whole pack."
Sophia: Ashton fills me in on the plan his parents just came up with and i was a little hesitant till he said that it will be just him and me in his cabin and being around other werewolves may help with my first change then he can help her from there and work through it over time with me so that it doesn't hurt anymore. "Ok Ashton, get the spare room ready for me in your cabin while I pack, then come pick me up in a couple hours and we'll go."
Ashton: I couldn't be more excited for her to come over for the week. My mind was going a million mile a minute, I ran around and lit lilac candles one in each room. Then as the smell started to fill the air I got her rom ready with a royal blue spread and baby blue sheets then just enough pillows to make it look like it belonged in a hotel and layered oh so nicely that you could lean back on them and still be virtually sitting up. Then I ran around sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, the whole 9 yards. I wanted this place to be perfect for her, so perfect that she may even consider staying here with me. Then I looked at the clock, just enough time to scrub up and make it to her place. So I did, got dressed in a shirt sleeve white v neck and a dark pair of jeans and got into my car and drove her way.
Sophia: I started with grabbing my favorite plumb purple rolling suitcase and packed a weeks worth of t shirts and jeans, my bikini, a towel, a pair of silver heels, my royal blue off the shoulder dress, make up, ect. A women's essentials, running shoes, even a corset and some stockings just to throw Ashton off. Then I went and took a shower, and when I was done I blow dryed my hair to make it fluffy and put on my make up. Then made my way to the living room where my parents were sitting, "hey I'm going to go stay a week with a friend and I'll be back." They just said ok and have fun. At that exact moment, there was a knock on the door, I looked at my watch and it had been two hours, it had to be Ashton and the butterflies in my gut confirmed it. Here we go I whispered giddily and answered the door, I was right there he was and his scent hit me. I could smell the cabin on him, the dirt, the trees, and there was a hint of lilac and I was curious to know why that was there but I was sure I would find out soon enough. He took my bag, walked me to his car, held open the car door for me, and everything. A perfect gentleman, I was nervous about meeting his parents but if they raised him to be like this then they have to be decent people. Ashton climbed into the driver seat gave me a passionate kiss and as he pulled away gave me a smile and asked if I was ready to go. I nodded and we started to head to the cabin.
