Damn! Damn! This is not right. I never imagined that Mauro would remember Katy, much less that she would show up at the mayor's party. He was angry and furious, and he might take it out on innocent people. I was lucky. As soon as I leave his apartment, I decide to call Sofia. She's at work in Wisconsin.
Sofia?
Honey, what's wrong? Why are you calling me at this hour? Is Lucianito okay?
Okay, don't worry. Our son is sleeping. I guess since I'm not home yet.
So what happens then?
Sofia, listen to me carefully.
Oh, Mirko, speak. You're scaring me!
Katy appeared.
There is silence. Love?
How did she appear?! Where?! Oh my ears.
Don't shout, Sofia. I take a breath because this woman almost broke my eardrums. She showed up at the mayor's party.
