He, who once always cared about where I was going and with whom, now only asked if I was leaving, with Katherine by my side. His timing couldn't have been worse.
"Get in the car now."
"Alright," he responds reluctantly, but at least he obeys.
"Is she the Sunnak you married?"
"Look, Franco, I'm in a hurry, and time is not on my side." I glance sideways at the window, grateful that it's tinted.
"Fine, I'm sorry to take up your time. I just thought you'd at least introduce me to my ex-fiancée."
"She's your sister-in-law now, Franco. Treat her as such."
