Katherine's POV
It had been a few days since the evil ogre kissed me again, and there had been no sign of him since. I suppose the work was demanding; there were days when I didn't even come home to sleep, or so Margot told me. But it was actually better for me this way; at least now I had the opportunity to go outside and find solace in the garden.
"Wow! And this piano?" I exclaimed, noticing it for the first time.
"It’s a relic from the Warrens," Margot explained. "It belonged to Mr. Mauro's mother."
"To his mother?" I replied, admiring the piano. "It's a beautiful instrument. To be honest, my father had a similar piano at home, and I used to play it as a child. I was quite good at music, but everything changed after my mother passed away."
