I always trusted Grandpa—him, only him, though barely—and he turned his back on me and everything to protect his reputation, his good name. It seems he wanted to give Gaby the family I never had, or so Sofia always repeats. Damn!
As the days go by, more and more memories come to mind, and everything becomes clearer. I remember how I met her, how I initially hated her, and how jealousy made me realize how much I loved her. I liked her, despite her being a Sunnak; I liked her a lot.
