CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
He left her alone for the night and taking care of Gabe himself, so she wouldn’t be disturbed by ten o’clock, he was so exhausted he fell asleep the second he laid down. Faith woke several hours later noting she’d only slept for a little bit then lay awake listening to him take care of Gabe. Getting up with the use of her cane, she began packing what things she’d left in this room. Luckily, she hadn’t moved everything into Kincade’s room only some things that she’d miss. Deciding for everyone it would be best if she just left so that’s what she would do. After all her bags were packed, she sat down to write him a letter explaining how she felt. Once completed, she waited for him to stop making any noise he’d finally gone to bed. Around eleven o’clock she felt safe to leave sneaking
