Hope's POV
I was busy on my computer when I saw a post on one of the famous Korean agencies.
Oh, they are putting up an audition here in Korea. Maybe I should submit a sample of my singing. I think to myself.
For sure I will not get in anyways hahaha.
I was starting to make my email and attach one of my recordings to submit. After heating sent I went back to whatever I was doing and forgot about it.
While doing my homework I get a notification from my email. It was from a famous agency that I have just sent my application to. Omg that was fast I think to myself.
I bring my mouse to the email notification to check the content and I do know that I did not pass the selection process.
“ Dear Ms. Hope,
Thank you for the submission of your application. I would like to congratulate you as you have passed the first selection process.
And we would like to meet you in person to see your talent.
The auditions will be held at the headquarters of Jewel Talent agency 111 myeongdong seol south korea at 8:00am korean local time on March 15,2026.
Please reply with your full name to this email for the confirmation of your attendance.

My eyes widened when I was reading the email. I checked the calendar and today is March 7, 2026. I still have time to prepare for this and even to travel to Korea.
I start typing my name Jane Hope Jimenez and click sent. I took my phone and called Juliet.
“ Hello… “ a very tired voice answered.
I look at the table clock and see that it was already 1pm.
“ Omg Juliet it's already 1pm and you are still sleeping “ I laugh a bit.
“ It's the weekend and we don't have school. Of course I'm sleeping “ Juliet whined.
“ But anyways, do you want to grab some coffee at Moon Coffee & Tea? “ I hear movement from the background and it seems she is getting up.
“ Sure… see you at around 3pm? “ Juliet replied.
I smiled when it came to asking coffee and food with my friend she will be fast like her life Depending on it.
“ See you. “ after hanging up the call.
After getting ready I was about to head out and someone call me from behind.
“ Miss Hope, where are you going? “
“ I will be meeting Juliet at Moon Coffee & Tea “ I told her.
“ Okay Miss Hope just as well to let you know your Mother and Father will not be back for dinner tonight because of a big issue in the hospital. “
What is new is that they are so focused on the hospital that they forget they have a daughter at home. My trail of thoughts was cut off.
“ Miss Hope… “ when I hear my name I look at Yaya Berta and smile.
“ Okay… I guess I will eat dinner outside so please don't make dinner for me “ and head out.
******* At Moon Coffee & Tea *********
“ Good morning mam, welcome to the moon and back. What can I get for you? “ I was about to give my order when a hand tapped on my shoulder.
I look behind me and I smile and I give that person a tight hug.
“ You better have a good reason to ask me this early for coffee, “ Juliet told me.
“ Omg you crazy person it's already 3:30pm and it's still early for you “
“ But anyways, what do you want? "She looks at me with a smile in her eyes happy that I will be buying coffee and food for her.
I gave the barista the order and Juliet and I looked for a place to sit while waiting for our coffee and food. I started explaining everything to Juliet starting this morning.
What I love about Juliet is that she will let me finish talking before she will ask about question.
“ So what are you going to do? “ Juliet asks while sipping her coffee.
“ To be honest I'm also not yet sure “ saying to Juliet while giving out a low sight.
She smile at me “ You know what Hope I will support you whatever you want to do in your life “
“ And I know you don't like to take over your family's hospital. I know you love to sing and dance and even make music. “
I gave a small smile to Juliet because I do know where she is going with this. I know she would tell me to go to Korea and at least try.
