Leisurely Mountain Hike
Owen, and two of his henchmen, Charles and Edmund, and Buck Savage drove to the Apache Museum parking lot. Owen signed in on the register that they would be hiking the trail and would be back the next day, Thursday, in the afternoon. They started out at 8:30 in the morning as the temperature was already north of 97 degrees. The humidity was about 20 percent, which was not bad. They had walked the distance of about two city blocks up the path and over a small hill, when Edmund grew worried that he did not bring enough rags to wipe the sweat off his brow.
