Call me Captain

"Captain (Y/N), what should we do with these?" Fred asked me I saw some of them checking some of the Titans who have been died during our encounter. Commander Erwin asked me to check the outside border if there is a suspicious happening but luckily we did not saw anything wrong but we just encounter an average size Titan. "We can't do things about that Titan. Nothing is wrong here. We can go back now." I said I look at them and saw their smile. Seeing those makes me wanted to hug them. They are so soft in this world full of lies and danger. I know years have been passed, some of my teammates have risked their lives just to save humanity. I really hope this will end soon. I don't want to see them die in front of me. "Are we all complete?" I asked them, even though I already know. "Yes, Captain but some of us got injured and we need to go back as soon as possible. Warren needs medicine and we never know if there will be a Titan in here." Irish said while pointing at Sonora who holds Warren in his hands. I nod and said "Let's go. Your family needs you also." I ready my horse to run and go back home. I look at my back and saw them with their horse. Heading back home, we did not encounter any Titans and we are all safe. Our horses are fast enough that is why we immediately got back home. But I went first to Commander Erwin to report something. I knock on the door to respect him. You don't want to be bitten by a commander somehow. But I opened the door and saw him sitting on his chair holding a pen. "How is it, Captain (Y/N)?" He asked. Now looking at me. Uh my surname, again. "Nothing is wrong at all. We did not see anything suspicious. We just encounter 2 average Titans along the way but we killed them. Also, 1 of my men got critically injured." I smiled and still standing near the chair. Does he want to give me the seats? My feet getting tired here. "How about the south?" "The border is clear. We saw some Titans on the southeast and killed them. Nothing to worry about." He stood up and look at me. "I should go now, Commander." I smiled and walk to the door. I looked back and saw him still looking at me. I just said my goodbye before I close the door. I need a rest. I'm really tired of roaming the borders because of those Titans who like to invade us. Most likely, they wanted to eat us all. What a petty but we need to kill all of them. My job really hard and being a captain is hard. I hop on the horse and ride it to my friend's house. My parents died when I was a kid. My mom died after he gave birth to me while my father got eaten by a Titan. I grew up with Sumi's parents and they treated me as their daughter. Sumi and I grew together. We choose the same job. Now one of a captain of the Military Police Regiment and I am a captain on Survey Corp. "What a great night to have yummy food!" I scream when I smell Cara's cooked food. It's Sumi's mother. She became my biological mother also. "You are here, (Y/N). We've been waiting for you, we thought you forgot us." Cara said. "I dropped by from Commander to report something. Where is Sumi?" I seat on the chair. "I don't know. She must be busy for now." Lando said. Sumi's father. We heard the door open and I saw Sumi wearing her uniform. She runs and hugs me. "You are alive ha," she sarcastically said Her parents laughed at her joke and so I am. We ate the dinner Aunt Cara cooked for us and discuss what happened today. After we ate, I went to the bathroom to take a bath. I feel sticky and I can't sleep with my uniforms on. I change my clothes and dried my hair with a towel. "How was it?" I saw Sumi walk heading to me. She's now wearing a dress just like what we use when we are sleeping. After all, we are still a lady and loves to wear a dress. "Nothing new. We are safe for now. How about you? What is really happening here?" I looked at her while combing my hair "Garrison still Garrison. Anyways, how is life? Is there any man around you?" She said and wink at me. "That is disgusting! I know you had Felix with you all the time. What is that? Love? Ok bye, I better go to sleep." I heard her laugh and tap my foot. It is actually a joke. I am not sleepy. I just wanted to divert the topic. I am not used to it somehow. "Why don't you get yours?" I rolled my eyes and about to throw her the hairbrush I am holding. "Are you nuts? Do I have time for that?" "Maybe, Yes? Just find a man, (Y/N). That is easy! You are pretty, smart, strong, and kind. Who would not want you?" She even uses her finger to count it. "Titans? Ok, enough with this kind of topic. Aren't you sleepy? We are all tired here." I said while touching my hair to make sure it is all dry. She smiles, "Yeah, I guess I need to go now. I still have work for tomorrow. Goodnight, (Y/N). Find your man!" She runs and locks the door while laughing. She really made me pissed off. Nevermind, I need to take a rest for now. I still have works waiting for me the next day. I prepared my bedroom and turn off the lights. I am not afraid of the dark when I trusted the people around me. Besides, I am the one who closed the light but when it is sudden I feel scared at that moment. I did not know what time I sleep. I just felt my eyes are getting heavier and my body getting weaker. The next day we did not do anything. I just some bread and hear some funny stories from my comrades. " Titans also have genders. That's cool" Gerald laughed while telling it Sonora stood up and said "That's maybe a fact or a buff. Either do they know? Anyway, let's drink tonight. I mean we did not do anything for now since yesterday we already checked the borders and it is time for us to take some chill for once." She then looks at me, "Are you joining us, Captain? Let's take some chill for now." I saw them looked at me while smiling. "Yes, but we must limit ourselves on drinking liquor. If Erwin knew about this he will punish us." " Commander Erwin does drink also," said Warren. They all laugh at that. We are now walking on the field talking nonsense. Erwin did not order us to do something for today. It's boring but we all used to it sometimes. Then night comes we went to a*****e to have some drinks. We choose to sit on the long wood table since there are 7 of us in here. We drank some beers but I limit myself to not get drunk for now. "Warren, how can you know if someone likes you?" I heard Sonora asked him. She's a bit tipsy that's is why she speaks a lot. "I do not know. I am not into reading someone else or even myself. Why did you ask?" I drink the beer that I am holding while my eyes are focusing on them. Sonora laughs and looks at Warren intently. She then shook her head to stop the topic she started. We all laugh at what she just did. Minutes later I heard Sonora called me "Captain" I look at her and raised my eyebrows to know that I am listening. "Is it really cool to be a Captain?" she asks I saw them looking at me and wanted to hear my response. I drink the beer and smile "I never thought to be a Captain and even part of an army. Though it was fun on having my comrades with me. Throughout the years we have been we felt or I should say I felt happy with you all. I found a lot of friends and now I consider them as my family. Being a Captain does not mean you should always command everything. It also means you have the priority to keep them with you all the time. I am happy right now, that every each of us is complete and alive. I do not care what my rank is all about but seeing you with me breathing and having fun making my heart flutter." I saw them looking at me with a shocked face. Some of them smiling and some are being emotional. "Captain (Y/N), you are so sweet. I am crying right now," said Sonora. I laughed and hit her on her shoulder "You all stop with that and let us have fun for tonight. You are all emotional I just answer what you asked." I rolled my eyes.
