“You all are failures, and you deserve to be executed!” I roared, and I would do it again.
Saying that I was disappointed in them was an understatement. I had bragged to Roman that they would bring Maya home to me, but here they were, damaged and bruised by warriors like them.
I allowed them into my compound because Roman asked me to. They would not pass for warriors again, so I should not see them as one anymore. The injuries they sustained were that bad.
