With everything that has happened recently, it seems that we had all forgotten about Christmas. So I was surprised, to say the least, when Jacob rang me yesterday to invite the three of us to the packhouse for the day. Considering we had no other plans, I accepted the offer, though I am still unsure as to why. My Dad and Troy, though both as curious as me, were glad to accept the invite too. So here we were, dressed in our Sunday best, on Christmas morning, on our way to the packhouse. Knowing that this Christmas had to have been a last minute dash, I spent last night baking, turning out two trays of brownies, and a tray of lemon meringue pies.
