Butterflies
Efeoluwa and Thelma have been friends since secondary school. They both got admission to the same university, or rather, Thelma only wants to be wherever Ifeoluwa is. In the early hours of the day, Thelma rushed to get ready for the day's lecture. She seemed very eager to get ready as soon as possible. If she had mystical powers, she would have said the abracadabra word and instantly been ready and headed out. Thelma, who is 5'6", is blessed with the perfect body curve. She has what every girl would call the perfect breast size. She has the most soothing smile you can ever come across. Her aura is magnificent; does she realize that is what people see and feel when they see her? I doubt it, though she has a very impressive body and self-hygiene. She looks very neat and fresh, even when she hasn't had a bath; you'd swear she has. Thelma is that girl who gets stares wherever she goes. Thelma pays little attention to her personal features or allows them to cloud her carefree nature. In no time, she's all set and ready for the day, and also to meet Ifeoluwa. After grabbing her bag and a few books, she looks in the mirror for the last time. Orange is quite her colorful, as her blouse looks stunning with the black jeans she wore. She smiles and rushes out of the room, locking the door with her keys. She arrives at the lecture early, and the lecture hall is already filled. She begins to look around for Ifeoluwa and, for a complete two minutes, is unable to see her. Immediately, the lecturer walks in, and everyone sits in for the lecture. She becomes a bit uneasy and disinterested for some time, but soon sees Ifeoluwa at the far end of the lecture hall. She expresses a gentle smile, and in her heart, feels joy like a toddler reuniting with parents after spending the day in a daycare. The classroom is crowded, making it hard to move easily. For a moment, she begins to blame herself for not looking thoroughly. She always looks forward to being close to Ifeoluwa and sitting in class. Not being close to Ifeoluwa feels like a slight cut on her finger. Though full of anticipation of reuniting with her crush as soon as the lecture ends, it resonates with her spirit. Throughout the one-hour lecture, all Thelma does turns to stare at the far end of the class. At least seeing her in class is quite okay for her, and it could help her keep calm till class ends. After the lecture, Thelma hurriedly makes her way through a bunch of people to Ifeoluwa. "Efeoluwa," she calls out, tapping her from the back. Efeoluwa turns, and they both smile at each other. Thelma asks, being careful with her words and attitude because the last thing she needs is to make Ifeoluwa suspect she's crushing on her. "Why didn't you look for me before sitting in class?" Thelma asks. Efeoluwa replies with a bright smile, "Oh, I met an old secondary school friend, and we got talking, catching up on old times, and class started soon after." Thelma looks at the friend Ifeoluwa was talking about. She's already in a deep conversation with a few others in the class. Thelma looks her up immediately, accessing her as though a watchdog would. What could she be staring at, you might wonder. While trying to sense if she's gay and going to be a competition, Ifeoluwa's friend from secondary school days is undoubtedly pretty. She has a good sense of fashion. You can't discard the thought and fear competition in terms of relationships once you see her. Though seeing how flirtatious she is with guys in class convinces her otherwise, and she's certain she's not competition. She turns to Ifeoluwa, looks her dead in the eye, though with a cheerful smile. "Efeoluwa, you don't get to have another friend; I am your one and only best friend, hopefully for a lifetime." Ifeoluwa can't help but burst out laughing, and they both laugh. One of the things Thelma always looks forward to every day is seeing Ifeoluwa smile. She does all sorts to get her to smile, even in her lowest moments. Seeing how hard she tries and the effort she puts in to achieve that, one would think she's a talented comedian. Efeoluwa's smile makes her feel a rush in her heart and a lot of butterflies in her stomach. She instantly begins to rub her stomach without even realizing she's doing it while smiling back at Ifeoluwa. Efeoluwa notices and asks, "Hope you ate
