“Ok everyone, listin up” Jon said as he looked around the living room and touching his eyes on everyone’s faces “it’s almost eleven am and the boys and warriors have been training this morning. I need all of you to be ready and to make sure you have had a lot to eat. Not just junk and sugary things but actual high protein food”
“What? Dad, what are you talking about” Max asked, his grey eyes flashing as he pulled Gemma closer to his chest as she at on his lap
“I know you guys are confused. I need all of you to have enough energy to be able to do what we are going to do next” Jon explained
“What are we going to do?” Max questioned
“And why do we need energy for it? We had breakfast at eight am. I’m not even hungry yet” Ben cut in.
“Do as you’re alpha has said. After eating, pumpkin, I need you to wear something comfortable and loose ok?” Heather said as she caressed Gemma’s cheek.
“Everyone must be back in this room by one pm. No exceptions otherwise I will not be able to explain what is going on until tomorrow” Jon explained
“Alpha, the feast has been delivered and put in the kitchen” A warrior said as he walked into the room. He bowed slightly before leaving.
“Ok kids, go eat. We will be along shortly as we too need the same energy but I have a few things to set up here first” Jon used his hand to gesture for the group to leave.
All the younger generations looked at each other, confusion clear on their faces. As they walked out, they turned to look at their parents, only to find Carrie shaking as she ran her hands over her face and the rest of the adults seemed to close in on her shaking form
“I wonder what that’s all about? Do you think mum’s ok?” Cindy asked as the friends walked towards the kitchen
“Our parents know something; something big” Max said quietly as he held Gemma’s hand
“I wonder wh-” Gemma gasped out as her eyes saw the amount of food on the kitchen table.
“Wow” Ben shouted out in surprise “Are we having a party or something? that's a hell of a lot of food! What the fu-”
“Don't you dare finish that sentence Ben Lee Henderson!” Heather said in a stern voice
Everyone turned around to look at the Luna who had followed them out and was now standing behind them, her arms folded.
“Sorry Luna” Ben smiled sheepishly “But are we expecting more people?”
Heather sighed and gestures hem to follow her into the kitchen and to the middle island where there was five extra large trays of roasted lamb shanks with onions, peppers and mashed potatoes, four trays with various cuts of steak and roasted potatoes, three trays of pork chops and four big trays full of macaroni and cheese along with six platter full of assortments of sandwiches and rolls as well as three, three! Trays of cookies, sugar cookies and other baked goods.
“No. This is for us, for everyone who will be taking part in what's about to happen” Heather explained as she started to pass out plates to everyone
“What’s about to happen mum?” Max asked as he started filling up both his and Gemma’s plate.
“Max!” Gemma shrieked “I can’t eat all of that!”
Looking down at her plate, his eyes widened. He had put in at a steak, a full lamb shank and two big spoons of mac and cheese along with mashed potato, gravy and some veg. He looked at her in surprise before his eyes changed colour
“You will need it little mate of mine”
“Maxsius” Heather whispered “You are here”
“I would not be anywhere else but by mate’s side. It is time”
“I know” heather said sadly “I just hope he doesn’t hate me”
His eyes changing back, Max looked at his mum before looking back at Gemma and smiling. Helping her sit at the table and kissing her forehead, he turned to his mum and folded his arms, his muscles bulging as he asked
“What’s going on mum? Maxsius knows something but won't tell me.I know Gemma can’t eat that much and yet Maxsius is insisting on it.”
“Ok everyone, let’s eat” Jon’s voice boomed out as the rest of the adults came back into the room.
Looking at the frozen groups of confused faces in front of him, Jon put a comforting hand on his son’s shoulder and sent him calming vibes before going to hug Gemma who was staring at her plate quietly. Feeling the sombre and scared mood, the alpha projected his power and calming aura to the group, encouraging everyone to eat. The group sat down and started to eat as their parents along with two warriors started to fill their plates up. After everyone had at least two full plates consumed, Jon addressed the group.
“There are bottles of water there, grab two each and once you have finished, come back into the living room. It’s nearly twelve thirty. Pumpkin, you need to go change and come back down quickly” Saying that, the parents got up, grabbed the tray of sandwiches and cookies before leaving the room
“What the hell was that?” Maddie asked, her voice high pitched at the tension
“We’re about to find out” Ben frowned as the group made their way to their rooms.
Standing on the landing Cinday, Ben and Maddie went to Maddies room to wait as Max and Gemma went into their own room. Max closed the door behind them as they got inside and pulled Gemma into his arms before picking her up; her legs wrapping around his waist. He carried her to his bed and sat down with her, breathing in her scent.
“Max?” Gemma said, her hands running through his hair
Even then he didn’t move his face from her neck, his arms like bands of steel as he kept her tight against him. Feeling him tremble, Gemma hugged him back before trying to lift his face from her neck, worrying at his behaviour
“Speak to me Max. What’s wrong” She says as she finally lifts his head up and looks at him.
Max kissed her. Not the slow, loving kind but fast and desperate. As if he is worried and can’t seem to get enough of her.
“Max! Please” Gemma employs
“I don’t know Gemstone but I can feel how Maxsius is. He’s not scared yet he worries. And if he is worried; it means whatever this is...its big” Max runs his thumb down the side of her cheek “You are my world and I won’t let them put you in danger”
“They wouldn’t do that to me Max” Gemma said, her own hands now cupping his face
“Wouldn’t they? What about mammie? And how her behaviour has been recently? It’s not stable, if she-”
“Stop Max” Gemma cut him off “I fully trust mammie. I know she wouldn’t hurt me and Auntie Luna...really Max? You’re own mum?”
“I don’t trust anyone but myself and Maxsius with you” He said gruffly
“Uh guys, we need to get down soon” Maddie's voice came through after she knocked on the door.
Growling at the interruption, Max released Gemma when she kissed his lips gently and encouraged her to change while he himself went in for a shower. Although he was clean, he felt this need to shower, to be able to control something. Towelling his hair dry, he walked into the room dressed in comfortable shorts and a tank top when he saw that Gemma had worn something similar. Growling, he stalked up to her and kissed her hard
“Change”
“What?” Gemma asked in surprise
“Change” Max growled again “There are other warriors who are not family down there. Change”
“Oh Max” Gemma sighed before she turned to a chest of drawers and pulled out a long pair of soft nightwear trousers.
Once changed she looked at Max who still had his arms crossed over, his muscles flexing. Lifting her eyebrows at him, she shook her head when he pointedly looked at her top
“No Max. I agree with the shorts as they may have been a little too….erm..short” She smirked “But i am not changing my vest top. It’s comfortable”
Max growled again as he grabbed her and kissed her mouth, his c**k straining against her stomach. He let her go and smiled at her, his smile goofy yet proud
“What?” Gemma asked
“A true Luna wouldn’t let her mate run her over. You are brave and bold and I love you” Max whispered as he kissed her knuckles
“I...I...Love you too Max” Gemma gaped at him in surprise before a lone tear spilled over her cheek.
Wiping it away, Max kissed her once more before turning to pick up a hoodie and opened the door to see their group ready to go. Going to the kitchen first and grabbing the water, they walked into the living room and gasped, looking around at the transformed room.
Where before, the living room had seating placed to be inviting, it had all been pushed away to sides and up against the walls, creating a large rectangular space in the middle. On the outer edges of the space were hundreds of candles, all alight and glowing especially as the curtain had been closed and both Heather and Carrie walked around each window and seemed to be saying something in a different language while waving about what looked like a burning pile of green grass. While the lights were also on, the candles seemed to give off the greater glow and after every third white candle was a red one, three more white ones and then a blue one, a light lavender coloured one before ending towards a burning pot where it seems to be different smelling essential oils. Within the rectangular space were different coloured candles all spaced out to create a circle.
“Come in” Jon said as he saw the children. “All of you sit in the circle beside a candle. We will start soon”
Maddies was the first to move, her feet taking her to a green light green candle that seemed to smell like apples and lime combined. She sat down cross legged and took a deep breath, her eyes wondering over to her friends, quietly encouraging them
Ben walked towards his mate but at the last minute, decided to sit at the opposite side, beside a light lavender coloured candle. His posture alert, his eyes moving from side to side as he tried to take in every angel, his wolf ready for an attack. Seeing the alpha smile at him, Ben knew that he had made the right choice in sitting where he did. Cindy moved next, her eyes drawn to the sky blue candle, the smell of blueberry strong and inviting. Sitting beside her brother, she was about to speak when her mother gasped out aloud before covering her mouth with one hand before taking a deep breath. Liam walked to his mate and hugged her as he guided her to sit on the sofa opposite Cindy.
Just as Gemma took a step, Max pulled at her hand to stop her, his eye not moving from the scene in front of him. He pulled her back and set her behind him as he looked at the adults, his alpha scent becoming stronger as he tried to intimidate the adults in the room.
“It’s ok son. I promise that no one is here to hurt your mate. You both asked what is going on but in order for me to tell you, you all have to follow the rules and one of those rules is to do this by a certain time frame”
“I don’t care. She’s not moving from here. You all-”
“Please Max” Carrie said as she got up from the sofa and walked close to him, stopping when Max let out a low growl “This is so important. If you don’t do this now then Gemma’s life could be in danger”
The group gasped and Max took a threatening step towards Carrie, his eyes flashing wolf. Liam and Heather ran beside Carrie, flanking her as his mother tried to calm him down. As Ben got up, Jon held him back down with his hand and walked towards his son
“Don’t threaten my mate!” Max growled louder
“Son, she said Gemma could be in danger. She didn’t say it was from us. Come sit down and I can explain. Time is short and we have much to get through”
Max shook his head while backing up so that Gemma kept taking a step back until she was against a wall and no one could get to her without going through him. Just as he was about to shift , he felt Gemma’s comforting hand on his arm as she placed her head against his back
“I don’t think they're here to hurt us Max. Please listen to them”
“I can’t chance them hurting you Gemstone. What if-”
“I trust them” Gemma cut in as she edged around him so their eyes could meet.
Max held her gaze for a few minutes, his eyes reading her; a silent communication between the two so strong that the adults felt as if they were intruding on a private moment. Finally Max sighed and took her hand in his and brought them up to his lips, kissing her knuckles before letting her go in front and watched as she walked away from him towards the circle. Gemma walked towards the others, intending to sit beside the gold coloured candle but just as she got closer to the circle, her heart raced and beads of sweat started to arise on her body. Her feet changed location of their own accord and went to the furthest candle, a white one. It seemed to call out to her, almost like a whisper, a long forgotten song/ Sitting down cross legged, she looked at Max and smiled as she held out her hand to sit beside her.
Max walked over to her and sat close to her, his hand holding hers as he tenderly caressed her cheek. The adults looked on in sadness as they took in the scene, the circle still incomplete. Within minutes, two of the arriers came into the room and sat beside two generic white candles where one sat beside Cindy and the other closed the circle by sitting beside Maddie.
Carrie, Liam and Heather sat on one sofa before Jon came and stood in the middle of the circle. Looking at each person, he focused his eyes on Gemma and squatted down to her eye level and touched her chin before sighing and sitting down properly.
“Gemma, today I am going to tell you something that has been kept hidden from you for years. For your own safety. Something we adult have had to do which we are not proud of, but was the only way to keep you kids safe”
“W...what is it uncle alpha?” Gemma asked, her heart starting to race
“You know that your father and I became friends at university, our group thought he would be a friend only for the duration of our studies but we bonded. We later found out that he had a great, great grandfather who had once been mated to a wolf and while they had three children, only one of them had the wolf gene, but it was so little, barely even point one percent, that he never shifted. This child’s lineage was passed onto each line and always with such a low percentage that they never shifted yet had a very slight scent of wolf. When we met, your dad had such a presence and his attitude and bravery matched that of any strong wolf we all became fast friends. Without knowing it, he passed several tests to join the pack as we studied and we had decided to tell him about our pack; but before we could do that, he met your mum”
Jon moved beside her as Carrie came into the circle, her hand carrying a small box which she placed down beside her as she sat across from Gemma, her hand capturing Gemma’s and bringing it to her lips.
“You look so much like her pumpkin. A double image to be honest. So beautiful like her”
“I don...don’t understand. I’ve seen pictures of her. My mum had blond hair, like white blonde and she was pretty yes but slightly overweight. I don’t understand how I'm her double when we don't even look alike” Gemma said in confusion.
Carrie sighed and opened the box and took out pictures before passing one to Gemma. Gemma looked down and gasped, her eye impossibly wide, her hands trembling as she caressed the face in the picture. Looking up, her eyes awash with tears; Gemma trembled
“Mammie?”
“That is you mother. The pictures you have are ones that were enchanted and altered”
“What?” Gemma gasped.
Max pulled her closer to him and sat with his arm around her as the rest of their group voiced their shock. Ben and Cindy both got up and walked to where Gemma sat and looked over her shoulders at the picture. They both paled and looked between the picture and their mother, their mouths moving but no words coming out
“What the f**k?” Ben shouted
“Ben!” Carrie scolded
“No mum. Seriously, what the f**k? If this is her mum, which it clearly is. Then who the hell is the woman in those pictures”
“Let me explain. Sit back down and I will tell you because in all honesty, the story is mine and your mothers”
I don’t understand mammie” Gemma’s eyes watered.
“Please let me say this without interrupting me, otherwise-” Taking a deep breath Carrie paused before she started again “We were in our final year when you dad and Liam were working on a project and had cut his hand badly. We went to take him to the nurse on site to see if it could be patched up or he needed to go to the hospital. When we got there, we all assumed it was a human female. She was onsite due to work placement and took one look at your dad and the whole scene changed. He looked at her like a wolf looks at his mate, he was in a trance and so was she. She was beautiful. Liam, Jon and I just started at these two humans who couldn’t seem to look away from each other, who were so in love with just that one look that we felt we were intruding. God pumpkin, if you saw how your father looked at your mother, so intense and lovingly; so beautifully. Just like how Max looks at you now” Carries voice broke
Max kissed Gemma’s head and cheek before nuzzling his face against his neck. His presence calming her even as her body started to tremble slightly. Ben put a comforting hand onto her shoulder but took it straight off when Max growled. Rolling his eyes, he moved behind her to sit back down and allow his mother to continue her story.
“We were all confused but suddenly, your mother let down her guard. Her scent changed. No one else could smell the hidden scent, but I could. The scent was masked in such a way that it took me time to work it out and even then I couldn’t believe it. My wolf was jumping in my head and my body started to change. My outer body was stiff but inside all these changes were happening, Jon and Liam were speaking to your mum and in wolf talk, told her we knew she was a wolf. She was so shocked and shattered”
“Why?” Gemma asked, her head bent in puzzlement
“Because pumpkin, it meant her secret would be revealed. These two didn’t know but I did” carrie said quietly
“Know what mammie?” Gemma asked
“Who she really was. I figured it out because my second wolf came to the surface”
“Second what?” Ben and Max said together
“What the hell? Noone has a second wolf” Maddie cried out as Cindy nodded
“Let me finish” Carrie said as she took one of the pictures and looked at it “I let your mother know I knew who she was without telling these two the secret. She was terrified, but so was I because I never expected to meet one of them before”
"One of who mum?” Cindy asked, her
“That day, Jon invited her to come meet us at student housing so we could talk properly, as clearly something else was going on. When she arrived, we had to act casual, bearing in mind that your dad didn’t know the truth about what was out there. We learned that she had been hiding her scent and her scent was uncloaked due to meeting her mate. Your father”
Gemma gasped “But dad wasn’t a proper wolf, how could he have been her mate?”
“Because pumpkin, your mother was a wolf. A very special wolf” Liam said gently
“N..No..It can’t be, If they both had that in them then how am I not a wolf?” Gemma asked, her eyes fluttering between each parent
“This doesn’t make sense” Max said finally.
“Your mum and dad started to date but she was jumpy. Beyond jumpy and while I understood why, Jon and Liam didn’t. Within three months of their first date, your father was jumped and attacked by some wolves from the London territory even though their alpha had given approval for other wolves to study there. We later learned that they were a small group who had gone rouge” Carrie explained “After that, every few weeks something kept happening, some attack or mishap”
“Things like a module completed by one of us would be showing up as incomplete, random alpha’s telling Jon that they were on their way because he had issued out a statement of intent to fight. Our rooms were ransacked, our cars followed and when the girls worked on a shift or your mum went to the hospital, they were spied on” Liam cut in.
Carrie took a glass of water and looked at Gemma, her eyes watering before she took a deep breath, and looked at Liam who nodded at her. Liam moved around as he slowly lit each candle in the circle until he reached where Gemma was sitting. Leaving her and Max’s candle unlit, Liam sat down beside Gemma before Jon moved away from the circle and sat beside his mate.
“We had all secured graduate jobs in London and agreed to stay for a year to work before going back to the pack-”
“Mum, I don’t get what this has to do with you having a second wolf?” Ben interrupted, his frustration clear on his face
“I’m coming to that. While studying I had told my truth to Lily and she wanted nothing to do with all of us at first-”
“What truth?” Cindy interrupted
“At this rate, We won't be able to get anything done!” Carrie moaned, her hand pressing her forehead in annoyance
“Kids. Save the question for after. Let her speak” Jon advised
“So, yes the graduate jobs. Peter got a really good job offer in London that had an office in Edinburgh and Bristol. Lily worked hard at the hospital but each night she would become more convinced she was being spied on and followed until once night, as she and Peter were going home from a date, they were attacked and lily did something unavoidable. To save her mate, she shifted in front of your dad. To say he was shocked was an understatement” Carrie laughed at the fond memories "Lily had used her phone to call us because Peter was babbling about genetics and life cycles and as she wasn’t part of the pack, she couldn’t mind-link us”
“Once we got them back to the flat, we had to come clean about our pack and what we were” Liam explained, his mouth curved up as memories flooded him “When Peter became too inquisitive, Jon had to try calm him down when he started talking about the media and people finding out. Jon told him he had to keep it quiet as it could lead to his death at which point Lily shifted, ready to attack Jon to protect her mate”
“Peter grabbed a dumbbell that Jon and I kept in the living room when we worked out; and threatened to hit anyone who hurt Lily” Carrie said smilingly “When Peter refused to step away even after Jon tried to order him too; he didn’t listen”
“That was the first time he defied me, and when he showed his true wolf pumpkin” Jon cut in. “He reminded me of Liam when he had found his mate and I realised that your father had enough wolf in him to be part of the pack, even if he couldn't shift. So I invited them both to join”
“But they declined” Liam said, the story now being told from all the adults point of view “I later found out why”
“Pumpkin” Carrie said, now coming to sit right in front of Gemma “For a long time I never told anyone my secret or why I had two wolves. Lily became like a sister to me and all she worried about was you”
“Me?” Gemma asked “B..but...I wasn’t born then so how-”
“She knew of your arrival” Carries sighed. Taking another sip of water, Carrie continued on “Our year was up and Max, your grandfather had insisted on us coming home, your parents were attacked in their flat by a vampire called clouse; a hired assassin”
Max pulled Gemma onto his folded lap and held her trembling body as Maddie moved closer to sit beside the group there eyes wide as they took in the information
“That attack had your father bruised pretty badly and Lily nearly collapsed if I hadn’t gone to them. My second wolf urged me on. When I got there, god! The flat was like a car crash. I'm sure the neighbours were called but I got them out of there fast and back to our place. Jon and Liam were in shock on how I knew about the attack and I had to confess”
“Confess to what?” Cindy asked in a whisper as she held her breath
“That I wasn’t just a wolf. I was a Vo-Suie”
“A what?” The young group asked
“A Vo-Suie. A protector. Sacred guardian of magic and fae. Everyone has a wolf, but I had two because my second wolf was a guardian of the highest order, a protector of a special being, a bloodline so rare that others were out to kill them” Carrie whispered, uttering the words for the first time after many years “Pumpking your mother wasn’t just a wolf. You’re mother had been in hiding for the last a hundred and twenty nine years-”
“WHAT?” Gemma shrieked, cutting off Carrie with her shock
“Yes. Your mother was the last of her kind left, her own brother and younger sister were murdered for what your mother was and for the prophecy” Carrie gently told her
“What prophecy?” Ben asked
“A twin Prophecy which I will explain in a little while. Many generations ago, your great great great great grandmother met and fell in love with a man who she thought was of the court. You see pumpkin, she was a fae; a fairly princess of the seelie court”
“But...but they were just stories mum. Stories you and auntie Carrie used to tell us when we used to go camping” Maddie said, her face pale
“No love, that was our way of telling you our history” Heather said as she gestured to Carrie to keep continuing the story
“Her name was Aniese. It was her eighteenth birthday celebration and coronation. She was to be crowned queen that night. They say that her marriage had been fixed with another fae prince who was a nice enough fae but older than her by almost ten years. She had taken a moment to be in the garden on her own when the visiting wolf king called prios was also in the garden due to hunting, had come out from having eaten a kill; and came upon her. You know that each of us supernaturals tend to stick with our own. It’s near impossible for different species to be mates because the physiology is often different. A vampire needs another vampire to sustain them and their need to feed, a wolf can only breed a wolf with either another wolf or human who has dorment wolf genes and so on. But he took one look at her and her wings grew. That is a sign that a fairy has found their mate. She had accepted him too and when they both went into the hall, their mate scent was so strong that there was an uproar that changed into a fight”
“Oh no!” Gemma whispered “Please don’t tell me they or one of them was killed. These stories always have a sad ending”
The adults chuckled lightly before Carrie brushed a strand of Gemma’s hair away from her face lovingly
“No my baby girl. Yes there was fighting. A lot. Many disapproved out of the fear of the unknown; but they were together. They mated and a few years later they were blessed with twins. A boy and a girl. And they were special because after being born human, within one hour they both shifted into pure white wolf pups…….with deep purple eyes”
The youngsters all gasped. Max finally displayed his shock by squeezing Gemma too tight that she yelped in pain. Apologising, he quickly sat her down beside him and got up shaking his head
“You’re telling us that a white wolf is also real and not just stories? Are you kidding me?” Max asked, his voice deep and incredulous
“It’s true love” Heather said as she walked towards her son. She bruised his hair gently away from his forehead.
“These pups were advanced. They didn’t cry as babies did. As they grew older it became apparent that they had the strength and powers of both species but none of their weaknesses. When they were both eight, a seer visited the pack and on the first moment she touched both children at the same time, she predicted a prophecy about the power these two pups would bring as well as how they would change the supernatural world. The amount of power that was granted to them and their future line. That their eyes would reflect each line and the power of that line, especially once they found their mates”
“Purple eyes….dad! Auntie Lil-”
“Yes son” Jon cut in “But first listen to everything before jumping ahead”
“What? Tell me” Gemma said as she looked between the two
Max came to sit back beside her and brought her hands up to kiss each palm before kissing her lips gently. They must have kissed longer than they thought because someone coughed discreetly and they both moved apart; a blush tinting Gemma’s cheek. Leaning her head on his shoulders, she looked at Carrie
“Over the years the children became more powerful and just before their fifteenth birthday, the boy thaddius was found dead in the forest. At first everyone had thought it had been an accident but his sister Lily-Anne suspected foul play and had turned out to be right. I will go into details later on, but it was then that beings started noticing that the power these pups had were worth killing for. Lily-Anne found her mate, another wolf and within two days of mating, another assassin attempt was made on her life. She went to see the seer who had seen her as a child who told her that the female of her line would always be hunted because she would be a white wolf”
Taking a deep breath Carrie took more water to help her parched throat. Looking at her watch, she got up and took out her medication tube and unscrewed the top off and swallowed a red gel pill with some more water. Sitting back down she continued on with her story
“The seer told her that with the killing of her brother, the prophecy had changed. These white wolves are called a WiOfa. White wolf Fae. That because of the killings, each white wolf born would be born after many years and will find her mate after long periods each time. But she also warned that with each white wolf born, they will no longer be pure white. They would each have a colour on them until eventually a wolf will have but a small speck of colour as that is when the time will be for the Astrid to rise again”
“The Astrid? What's that?” Gemma asked
“The Astrid was a powerful Fae queen. She controlled the fae court but due to her loving nature, she helped keep the peace with the other supernaturals. But she was killed, betrayed by someone in her own court before any real treaty could be made. Since her time, there has been fragile tolerance between all beings. A fine line that has been slowly deteriorating over the years. The seer said that when the real white queen would be born, her wolf’s coat will be pure as the snow, her eyes will glow like they were amethyst and her power and good nature will be the first steps in bringing all beings together as one. It is her children who will continue on the twin Prophecies”
“Wow” Maddie murmured, her hand going to her forehead as she messaged it
“Over the years each wolf born from that line always had a splash of colour somewhere on their body, yet she always displayed a lot of power. Enough power in fact that the assassin that killed the original WiOfa’s started to teach their own family to hunt them down. Each generation since then has been in hiding from the day they were born until they find their mates, hoping that they were the ones to end all the killings and be the one to bring peace”
“When Lily-Anne was betrayed, The seer sent word to a clan high in the Balkan mountains, gifting them with a power, a prophecy that for each WiOfa worn, a Vo-Suie; her protector would also be born. That the protector would have a second wolf who would have light lavender eyes so the white wolf would know it’s kinn of the same line and know it is protected. That protector's job is to not care about anyone but their WiOfa’s. They would know them anywhere. They are trained as assassins and have been gifted with magic to use in time of need and in battle. Lily-Anne’s children were always girls and with each generation born there colour changed until it started coming closer and closer for the Astrid to be born, the white wol”
Pulling Gemma closer to her and away from Max, Carrie hugged Gemma and looked at her as she held her hand. Tears spilled from her eyes as Gemma looked at her in confusion
“Pumpkin, your mother was from that line” Gemma gasped, her breath hitching “And your mother was the last wolf who had any colour on her white wolf form”
“W..W..What are you saying mammie?” Gemma asked, her hands now ice cold, her breath choppy
“Oh pumpkin!” Carrie hugged Gemma close to her and whispered quietly in her ear “You are the last white wolf of that line. The day after you were born, when we went to see you in hospital; You changed into a white wolf…..a pure white wolf pumpkin. You had no colour on you except an iridescent white coat” Holding Gemma’s shaking body, Carrie looked into her eyes, her own watering and overflowing onto her cheeks “I am you’re Vo-Suie and you my angel, are the Astrid White Princess, the last princess of both Fae and Wolf and the rightful ruler of ALL the supernaturals”
