I finished the note I wrote to Wolf and reread it. I felt the tears threaten to spill over but I suppressed them.
Wolf,
I can’t live like this, I love you, but I can’t stand by and just watch as you and Emma are now together.

I packed a small bag, I wanted to leave quickly, so I didn’t want to be loaded down. I wanted to get to Glasgow or Edinburgh and from there I would decide where to go, maybe London or somewhere warm. I grabbed some money from the safe and put on my jacket.
