Wolf’s POV:
When I found Riley’s note, I was extremely worried. I felt frantic for a second and had to calm myself down. The only thing I had to focus on now was Riley. I knew the demon had gotten to her, and I had to find her fast, before he had a chance to hurt her..
I caught her scent quickly and followed her trail to the ferry. I discovered that she had left for Aberdeen and that I had missed the ferry. That was also the last ferry of the day.
I started looking for someone who could take me to Aberdeen. There was no way that I would be able to wait. I grew desperate with worry. I should have known something was up, but I thought it was hormones. I berated myself and grabbed my hair in frustration.
